you dont like their rez to the golems trick?
on a 3rd note, more concrete claim rules on gloom claim could also save ppl alot of wasted time as well.

The sit at wall for 8 hours is pretty crazy, would be nice to have some sort of ruling to prevent the wasted time and give "whoever gets there first" the claim or something.

Actually I don't like the "Arcibu Jr. training my group twice because we had a claim force there and clearing first" trick, but that leaving corpses to res at the golems also sounds shifty.

I've just recently started trying to get my wife into playing games with me. Before I get her into SoD, It dawned on me that I currently generally play 2 characters at the same time. Is it going to be a problem if my wife, at the same location, logs on to her character? In short, how can I avoid it looking like I'm boxing 3 characters?

Regards,
Paul (Bagok)

As long as you're both playing no more than 2 characters at a time each, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Treasure maps. What level can loot, what type of map?

VE to D 55?
VD + ?

And can a picker open a chest and not loot anything if not grouped?

Simple: the level range

VE to ED and crumbling: 55

Nadox (if those actually exist or ever exist): 65 since you can't zone in before level 65

Yes, bringing in a rogue to pick the chest is okay, but the rogue is not eligible for any [NO DROP] or [PRISTINE] loots from the chest. Also, this *shouldn't* be an issue if you're just having the rogue pick the chest, but don't use this allowance to create a 19-man raid situation.

Serious question: is it illegal to use platnium to purchase a buyin for a poker game / tournament outside of the game?

ex: 5 people want to play a game together of poker on pokerstars.net we charge 5k to buy into the game. Winner or 1st 2nd 3rd etc get the pot or the % of the pot as a prize for winning?

The fantasy football guys do it every year. It's no different than an in-game casino or lottery, knock yourself out.

Under current policy, as long as it is transparent, there is no house take or fees (the pot gets paid out in entirety), and it isn't some kind of ruse for trading in-game and out-of-game things, it's okay for the reasons Dimmi has just stated.

I have searched around but cannot find an answer so posting here. I admit that I stopped reading after about 4 pages of this thread where it seemed like people were playing lawyer and trying to find loopholes in the rules.

I am wondering if multi-questing is permitted here in SoD. I think the most common occurance was Quillmane's Cloak? Basically multiple people have different no-drop quest items. Person A turns in their item. Person B turns in their item. Person B receives reward.

For example, I killed a mob earlier tonight for a quest I was doing, but it also dropped a quest item for an enchanter. I looted the enchanter quest item. Can I find an enchanter that needs that item, turn in that item and then the other character turns in the item they have, and they receive the quest reward?

I'm not talking about charging money or services or anything like that. I'm utilizing the opportunity that I was given loot that I cannot use, but someone else can.

Thanks in advance!

It won't work.

I have a question regarding buffbots in cities. Im well aware that not 3 chars can be logged in at same time, but the third char cant even have LD tag up and you still get jailed ? what is this all about? I am in Athica, not about to kill king tormax?

i know this. but why this rule, and 14 days jail for that, a warning and explenation, good punishment. I dident even know i couldent have one char of the 3 on LD and get jailed.
