Vah quest tree ultra megathread

naw dude wasnt being rude, just proving a point that unless you random happen to find one.. there is no link in the vah camp to where it drops.
the others were easily found in *** and i doubt these are the type of places you exp'd in. so lets assume its from emberflow since thats the only rumor ive heard and seems like a place finster would be exp'in in. it would be cool to have the quest npc text direct in that direction in some sence seeing as 80%? of the population will prob never see the zone for the next 6 months. seems that would be a bottleneck in itself. no need to hide it.

but only thing tieing the poultice to emberflow would be 'a burning cornerstone' , and 'a burning poultice'
but ive talked to people that farmed the supposed shaman area in ember for 4hours on a what 20min repop? and no poultice. and if you look back at thinkmeats post in april/march about the poultice he says

so with the RNG u'd be searching aimless zones for hours..

hence the asking for the quest npc text to be looked at, and not demanding as you said finster.

yejhana's text won't change, but i'll think about squirreling a hint into one of the other npc's dialog. i'll post here if i do so
 
I can't believe I agree with Nifera... But I do. I was looking for hints in other NPC dialogues and trying to figure it out from the lore I learned.. But the rumour of where it drops was still the only clue. And if I've been in the right place for 7+ hours, I would expect it by now, since it's pretty hard and as said before, most people will never go there. Of course if that was THE right place and I was just unlucky, I won't be happy when the hints will be served on plate :hmpf:
 
Have run into the problem with the dagger from the froglok in meilich that will talk to you. I had thought I had handed it to a pet instead of the mob since the target window was the right mob it was the only thing that could have happened. But reading through this, others have had the issue of the dagger not being returned. Character name is Gnarici, hoping to get dagger replaced please. I do not mind if I have to start the count to 20 over either. Thanks.

yeah i didnt think this would be hard to figure out but i didnt count on the people who found it being unusually tight-lipped about the location of the drop

i normally try to encourage a certain amount of player-to-player cooperation in my stuff (see: rust key selling, coi quests, etc)
 
I used the method TM thought would work and harassed high tier players who i was amicable with until I found out where it dropped. After farming for hours in the spot mentioned (even down to the appropriate area within the zone) I had no luck. Without giving out huge hints, I will say that it's not the easiest place to farm / maintain just any group either.
 
I agree, finding that item was a matter of dumb luck.

Also, I really like that multiple banners can be switched out with ease. This is a fantastic quest and our guild is having a great time with it. Thanks for the time and hard work you put into this quest.

I was trying to get the cloak cube to spawn in mielech c and he just won't come out for me. He won't come out when I get to the ruins where exbox is. I checked every nook and cranny.
 
When I did this, you just had to walk into the area and he spawns like a trap. For some reason Nath has never been able to get him to spawn period. He goes into the area, walks around for a while, and then we say screw it and kill monsters around there. It really seems like his flag is messed up.
 
It was pretty random for my toons, but I had to clear and run around for quite long before getting it (even the second time, when I already knew where it spawned the first time).

When i started the vah tmap quest, i started the tmap one too. Thinking it was just a sidequest, i destroyed the maps and went on. Later i found out i needed to do those to progress so im wondering if i can have them back? (Majk)


I've been petitioning about this for weeks, got 1 response saying they need to clear with an admin first. Then a week passed, nothing happened. Halp!

In regards to the Vah quest without giving away too much information. The mob that takes 2 eyes in exchange for another piece required still offers the quest after it's completion. This could possibly be a problem with my flags. It came up as a concern after I was informed that the Vah Quest might have to be done to a certain extent in order to get the new quest. I believe I have progressed past the point to which I would be able to get the new quest (both vahir rescued)but am not certain so I figured I'd bring it up. Another possible problem and likely what is causing me not to get the new quest is faction with the quest giver. I'll check again when I get more faction, though reoffering the previous quest is still something he should not be doing.

Do you have a EF key on ur toon/bank? If not get one and rehail npc.. if you do then idk.
 
Were the salves from PoE made obtainable for someone who is pledged to Sihala? I can't find any information on this and I know at one point it wasn't implemented, I *think* I have hailed every single npc in the zone and still nothing.
