First of all, my suggestions for improvement to knights had serious penalties for going into DPS mode. Getting aggro with that ability enabled = dead knight.
I'm all for balance.
What I'm suggesting, mostly, is that classes with more than one role be able to switch to more extreme opposites of their given roles with great penalties to their OTHER abilities.
Again, my suggestions for how that takes place may not be viable, but the underlying idea is a good one, imo.
