It can be put into the item description just as "This item is made with tradeskills" is done. TS items being BoE is a good idea too, a person can level up (all theoretical here) a druid wearing wyvernhide armor, decided they want a new class, and give everything they are wearing to their new beastlord. This means those tailors only ever sell to that person once, highly bringing down their potential profit for the work put into tailoring, and narrowing their market even more than it originally was.
