Should SoD allow Zhak to return to SoD?

I've debated what I should post here for a while now. The nice guy in me says why not, the 'other' guy that remembers shit thats happened and has been said to me and my guild says otherwise.
I vote yes as long as he keeps to his word, but at the same time I wonder how long that will be.

Even though I haven't had many dealings with Zhak. The few times I have run across him I haven't had any bad experiences. I would like to see him come back simply because I like this community and even though I don't get along with everyone in it I wouldn't wish bannings on any of them.
Based on everything that I've seen in this thread, it seems like everyone wants to see Zhak come on back to good ol' SoD, and I agree. Zhak's been a good guy to me and I've never had a problem with him (Except in Steel vent where I want to light my face on fire because of his annoying-as-shit echo).
We did Cmal 4.2 together, and he was a cool guy. So as long as he follows the rules, let him back. If he doesn't ban him again. Simple.

Bought some pants from this fellow back in the day and zhak was nice. I probably got ripped off being a no-nothing wizard high off farming ice giants for the first real plat of my sod career. anyway, when I was a newb, zhak was already like an icon for sod, at least in my view. And when I did raid, a few times zhak came along as was always more than nice.
It just feels nasty to not have a definite #1 player on the server. I say come back zhak.

I don't know how he actually was banned, and I know that Zhak can be a lot of trash talk to his 'enemies' but most of the time I feel that he's doing it for the sake of fun and competition. Seeing as how many of the people who actually knew Zhak (even those he regularly hated on) want him back, I feel that I'm not the only one who understands this side of him. To me, although some of the things he said (especially vs. certain other guilds) were uncalled for, many times it was a motivating force (and a cherry on top) for them to prove him wrong. I can only imagine the satisfaction Ruin could have felt when they beat <insert previously end game mob here> for the first time, all while Zhak taunted them endlessly about how they would wipe while witnessing the victory 
.
That being said, I see that I'm not alone in thinking that Zhak sounds sincere. I support another chance for Zhak.

Although I have played this game on and off again since it's last year as WR, I never got to know Zhak. Sure I knew of him, and in game...he never bothered me...on IRC and in the forums he has said plenty that I found offensive...but then again so have many others.
That being said, my vote is to allow him to have his characters back due to him pleading and apologizing...however...if another is banned for the very same reasons...temper/trash talk...then they too should be alllowed to plead and apologize to the community to be unbanned. Otherwise, Yes, you are sending mixed messages to the community, and the worst would be that its ok for the old timers/clicky folks to break the rules and get a second chance...but not for others. Therefore, as long as everyone that is banned for trash talk and tempers is allowed to plead forgiveness...then it's ok for Zhak to come back seeing as most of the replys have been in his favor. If it's not going to be ok for anyone to plead forgiveness due to trash talk/tempers, then no, Zhak/Ponden should remain resting in peace.
Hence, if LuciferBlack wanted to plead forgiveness and agree to not breaking rules on the forums and the community agrees, then he too should be allowed; as should anyone else. Otherwise, if the staff wants to decide alone on bannings for tempers/trash talk; then no...once banned....always banned. This would leave no room for unfairness to come up, IMO.

That was my point really. I had never been jailed nor been warned about anything in game ever. I broke the rules on the forum once, by getting into an argument with Rab. Liam banned me for it. None of my characters are banned, but I'd still like my old forum account back and maybe to be un-IP banned so I can quit using these proxy servers.

I left the game for several months, have returned, started a guild to help low-mid level players and haven't otherwise broken any rules or had any questionable actions. So can my ban be lifted as well?
