Roses of Judgement: The Althuna Quest Bug Thread

Ok!

The Neck Gate is currently only working in half the zones. It should work consistently from those it does work in, and will be fixed as soon as the real culprit is identified.

Valadorn and others who are sworn to Althuna and somehow also KOS, your faction will need to be reset manually. If you and other with your issues could post with your characters name, characters creation date, race, and class, it would go a ways to figuring out how this happened.

Zafirbel, you probably fell victim to this recent rash of item bugs. Petition again today, and if the stars align and we are on at the same time, I'll reimburse the Vessel.



Whatever bug crashed the zone for the final fight, is hopefully just a fluke, as I can't seem to recreate it. Hopefully it was bad luck, but if it proves otherwise, please PM me.
 
Hopefully tonight, Mallas the Quest Breaker will venture to Sundered Mountains and crash the zone for 3 days.
 
We got flagged for the midnight beach party and went there, the party spawned and it was shit load of fun. But it wasnt midnight, so no flag for next part.

Is he supposed to spawn any time of the day but only flaged for next step if you do it at midnight..?
 
His spawn time does not affect you moving forward in the quest. He's not exactly in the right state of mind... and forgets he's supposed to wait til midnight.

Regardless it looks like your flag was not set, and from where I sit there is no reason for that. I'll research it more when I return home today, but if you have the means too, try re triggering the event, and see if you are flagged this time. And let me know the results.
 
nm. thought i was on the last page but wasn't, and someone has already responded to that question.
 
Just as a note:

I completed the quest w/o any gm's having to flag me from a petition, etc.

Still looking to be reimbursed the 4000gp (400pp).

So we went to the beach party again.. And this time we crashed the zone... Sorry bout that...

Besides a few wizards, I know of a cleric that is thinking of going Althuna shortly.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone decided to play an althuna necro.

Trying to pin point this Sundered Mtns crash problem... I hate when things start breaking after they've been working fine for awhile.
 
Ok, I believe I identified, and solved, the Sundered Mtn crash bug. Do your worst!



It seems to be working. If Mallas can't crash a zone, very few others have a chance.

i was just wondering about the classes because the aug has +2mind shield on it, something i found really funny/useless from a paladin perspective. but i guess since other classes are doing it too im gonna have to cope with it. would still love to get it changed to smthng else though, maybe stun resist?

there is a little wrinkle at the end with the aug.. it will become clear when you finish the aug quest :p

Aren't there a few different kinds? Mallas linked 2 different ones the other day. I assume he received the first (without the mind shield), handed it back, and received a different one.

But I could be wrong.

Ok I didnt succeed.. The zone is still up.... And my journal has been updated.. DAMN ;) But Im gonna try one more time to get zone to crash tomorrow. Maybe I get lucky :p
 
In theory the Gate Necks should be working properly now. Please report which zones they aren't working from if you find an error.

I fixed the Wards yet again. If they are up, can anyone report if they are killing people still?
