I did a relic scroll turn in today, expecting either my Relic Nuke or the Relic pet. Either would have made me happy, to be honest with you. Instead, I got a different spell that I've never heard of; either on the forums or on the unofficial spell page.
So I'm thinking, "Ok, calm down. It's a relic, so it can't be that bad... right?". Wrong. This spell is terrible.
Essentially, it's an upgrade to that level 54 spell: Elemental cloak. It gives +55 to both FR and CR. It is self only and does not stack with SoS (this is the druid version that is 'not' relic, gives +50 to both saves and also happens to hit everyone in the group/raid).
So maybe I'm missing something, or maybe I'm not. Someone please enlighten this discouraged mage as to how this got added to the mage relic list and not simply added as normal spell? I doubt I'd have even bought it if it were 61+ as I nearly never use the 54 counterpart.
