Pwned

The way they've been introduced is completely win if you ask me. We have a glimpse of their culture, internal relationships, and moreover their naming habits - which should help greatly in not having law-breaking names.
Seriously A+ on that stuff.

They can remain in the game I guess but having their home blow up would be pretty nice

Y'know, when I read that, and looked down at your sig, I pictured ryu with dynamite all around his chest running into the vah camp going BAHALLALALALALALALAAAA

OK, what's the deal on the quest by Cvetkaa and friends? I haven't seen a post or news describing what went on. Is there one?

I think that the IP stones are too common; they should be looked at and probably have their drop rate slashed.

Cvetkaa finished the vah questline server first. <Exodus> helped her on the last step (honorable mention of Tryling at this point!).

This made Vah Shir a playable race on the server.

OK, thanks, but that's all that I've been able to gather about what went on. What was this quest, and did they know that's what they were working on?

The quest is named [The Vah]. It started with a single Vah NPC that mysteriously appeared in Stinger's Bog, and involves helping rescue a number of Vah, and it even branches out into a fairly huge quest tree.

At least to the point which I reached, there was no direct indication that the completion of the quest would lead to Vah being enabled as a playable race. There was, however, a metric bunchton of indirect indication. (1) Thinkmeats made this quest tree (2) The constant code-speak for "hey guys, someone go finish [The Vah]" notice in the MOTD (3) An Illusion:Vah mask as an award at an intermediary step of the main Vah quest line. (4) Thinkmeats made this quest tree ... it was worth saying twice.

A lot of people saw it coming. That said, I'm still unsure as to whether there is any more "great recognition" for Cvetkaa for "completing lost quest lines first".

Doh, thanks! So, that's the quest that was in the MOTD all that time. I don't play at that level, had no clue. Thanks for the explanation.

really the first to finish on whole server? thought it was common yo have it done =P never really worked on the quest though, guess i never knew how long/ hard it was.

wiki isnt meant to be a way to just "cheat" on quests. you should be able to think and explore on your own, and not just blindly refer to a website for info on stuff. you can get more out of the game this way. more story depth and all.
