Planar Gemstones: bugs and feedback thread

Hi everybody. Hopefully you're beginning to discover and enjoy the Planar Gemstones. This thread will be to discuss bugs and feedback with the event, monsters, and items.

Please post your issues and feedback, and also do feel free to message me directly in discord. I will try to respond and fix problems ASAP.
 
Planar vortexes should no longer infight with other creatures from the event. Thanks Marthog!
 
A few clickies were not properly triggering their cooldowns, these are now fixed. Probably a few more remain to be found and fixed as well. May require a patch to fully take effect.
 
There is now a chance for lower tier stone events to drop the next higher tier stone.

The higher tier maps will be getting more drop locations in a future patch. They will no longer drop the next map up.

Thank you Resurgum for finding and testing Rhaddum, Defender of the Cache. The following issues should now be resolved (I hope):
  • Boss is no longer permarooted.
  • Boss aggro radius reduced.
  • Boss model should display properly.
  • Boss is now smaller to accomodate tight quarters in some zones.
  • Goos will now spawn closer to the boss.
  • Devils and Howlers will now have some finite limit so there are not so many simultaneously.
  • Some problems with "absolution" and being "oppressed" may be fixed.
  • Possibly other bugs that nobody has seen yet!

Dhulgor and Gozlomm were also decreased in size. Please let me know if they are still oversized for the various areas.
 
Thank you to Help Wanted for their help with testing the Lustrous Planar Stone.
  • Chaotic elementals will no longer react to procs (oops!)
  • Psionic swordsmen were asked to chill out a little bit.
Hopefully this will make the event of a huge spawn of psionic swordsmen and chaotic elementals possible to defeat.
 
  • Lustrous Planar Stone encounter further tweaked.
  • Howlers removed and replaced with a different mechanic.
  • Absolution hopefully fixed for real this time, and has a minor mana restoration component.
  • Trash mob balancing continued.
  • Impassable and Unbreakable will no longer spawn directly on top of one another.
  • Devils now have a chance to restore mana when dematerialized.

  • Some bugs surrounding sundering fixed.
  • Problems when Paladins are asked to cast the incorrect absolution spell should be fixed.
  • The colorwheel was adjusted to be more punishing.
 
  • Dimensional Butcher will dismember more frequently.
  • Blademasters on final planar gemstone slightly buffed.
  • Will of the Four damage grace period was increased and invulnerability mechanic adjusted for clarity.
  • Will of the Four can no longer be mezzed or charmed.
  • Colorwheel attack will now display a message even if nobody is hit.
  • Absolution will be offered more frequently.
  • Absolution failure punishment damage increased.
  • Emote text may now be easier to pick out in the spam.
  • Decomposing Grave Rat size reduced.
  • Rhaddum will no longer summon.
  • Bogus procs and focuses fixed, please let me know if any other items are misclassified.
  • Tanks will no longer be selected for the absolution.

  • Will of the Four now has less hp.
  • Will of the Four infinite looping problem may be fixed (thanks cole!).
 
  • Goops made a bit smaller in size.
  • Overall difficulty increased slightly.
  • Colorwheel failures now reduce the recycle time on Rhaddum AoE.
 
  • Colorwheel movement time reduced.
  • Minor fixes to dimensional butcher, Will of the Four.
  • One Hand Washes the Other had some bugfixes made. This will require a patch or rolling restart. This is intended to fix the bug where it kills you (oops!).
  • Unductoratory Flascertion will be reimagined. Requires a patch.
  • Glowing Robe of the Outer Planes focus effect increased to reflect the tier. Proc duration shortened greatly and reimagined.
  • Shield of Ageomast had its armor class reduced.

Unductoratory Flascertion is going to be changed into something totally different. I'm unhappy with what it is now. It won't be a group healing weapon any more. Further update when I am done.
 
Glowing Planar Gemstones:
  • Difficulty adjusted to be more consistent on a mob-by-mob basis.
  • Totemist will no longer infinitely heal himself to full (oops!), and totems no longer heal other totems (oops again).
  • Doppelganger will no longer endlessly mimic mesmerize onto the raid.
  • Doppelganger mimic damage output reduced.
  • Many more effects and spells now able to be resisted.
