Placeholder Class Tomes

This thread was based on the assumption that no new tomes are actually going to ever be implemented.

If they are, then lets get some confirmation and we can drop the subject. If not then it makes no sense, mathematical or whatever, to keep placeholder tomes implemented.

Good point, Baxters. I meant to specifically disinclude those comments from any of my remarks, but it seems I kinda lost track during the time I spent refining those posts.

I'd also want to know what they would expect or desire from any newly implemented tomes. I know we've had this discussion a few times before. As those conversations really didn't lead anywhere, I think it's worth revisiting in its own right, as opposed to being predicated on the assumption (and assurance) that all classes would get 3 class tome lines.

The fact is you (superior predecessors) have implied. It's abnormally tough, isn't that the problem? Because it was hard for you then it should remain that way for everyone else?

What's the plan on getting it fixed?
 
Not quite Lang they are saying it was tougher an they fought to get the changes made and people are complaining about them.
 
Changes were made years ago with the intention that new tomes would be implemented. Seems like a great idea. But new tomes are not being implemented and it seems like the game is moving away from tomes anyway (3.0). Not trying to complain, just highlight the current issue and get info from staff and hopefully intervention if appropriate.
 
I'm curious though, currently class 3/4 tomes are from raids and opus's are from raids. If the intention with the coming 3.0 is to get rid of tomes what happens to these PH tomes for that matter would there be some kind of quest or flag to unlock the AA's that would replace active class 3/4 tomes?

Even further it would make every argument to keep the ph tomes pointless since you can't exp them, they would be gone, and only prevent people from earning exp that could be latter transferred to AA's in 3.0, just my thoughts.

If all the tomes are gone except raid tomes then by all means leave in the PH ones BUT ONLY if they will be implemented as something you can put exp into. How ever if ALL tomes are removed with 3.0 (which there was talk of) then PH tomes serve no purpose.
 
Thank you Devs and other managers for implementing the tomes that were done. I dunno if its because of this thread but regardless, thank you.

Also, thank you FWF for the planning and ideas that were put forward for the implementing PH tomes. These benefits are being realized as these new tomes are implemented.
