    Mages bring very little utility, but some none the less. Also mage runic pet is pretty damn good when properly equipped. Rogues are so linear and only bring DPS to the table. Why bring a rogue when you can bring anything else and get better dps and utility.

    I had a far more long-winded response, but this won't take it, so I'll just say, that, while I agree, rogues need help, I can't imagine a situation where a rogue would ever be replaced by an equally geared, etc. mage.
