Paladin single target aggro.

Could we pretty please get those aggro dummies put in the game full time? It could really give the palyer base a lot of useful information on aggro other than personal expereince!

When this competition was going I saw a guy get someone to nuke him down to below 20% hp to try and cheat with low hp aggro. Now imagine that guy x10 making balance posts.

I still don't see how this is an issue. Devs constantly want players to give them parse after parse for just about any request, why not give the players some tools to help do that? Because of a few posts that will need trash canned? :psyduck:
 
I am going to have to agree with the OP. Pallys need some work for the higher end content. Like another have said so hard to box a Pally being MT with another class that is not just auto attack. Boxing a Pally on a raid or group being chanter, or cleric is such a pain in the ass that it is no fun.

Now I dont even box a pally any more as an SK is so much easier and less taxing for the player. SK can hold 2-3 mobs very easily. Which makes your other box actually playable. Granted I can only speak of content that is t6+.
 
class balance should never be based around "how easy is it for you to two box".

that is about the silliest thing in the world.
 
I don't know what you are talking about Mythryn, 5 years ago paladins had crappy agro and it was what made me quit my paladin and started a SK. I remember when I posted about it back then people told me that "pally agro is fine you need to use root and get close to the mob" go figure that one out. At least with this post you are getting none-pally players complaining about it(which back in the days they offered stupid suggestions like use root spell to grab agro), not just a veteran pally players. I do feel like pally agro can improve, and SKs also get some group agro spells you may just have to do some heavy farming to get them, and that is because earlier post people tried to compare them. I do Agree that paladins are tanks and they should be able to grab more agro than none tank melee classes and DPS melee classes should not have to stop doing their class performance because one tank class cannot perform their job as they are supposed to.
 
Look we use a paladin as a main tank, and guess what? Everything is fine unless our dps does something dumb. Suck it up, buttercup.

No, but I have played a paladin on raids from tier 7-11. The only time someone pulls aggro is if they do something stupid (doesn't concuss enough, doesn't stop when they keep failing hide, doesn't jolt, ETC). Yes, paladin does not give dps room to do max burn without having to think about what they are doing. But their aggro is fine. We still manage to kill the hardest bosses in the game with a paladin tanking. Yes he has to do a bit more work than an sk does, but that's part of the class, not some gaping problem.

EDIT: If anything, the only "change" I'd say that has anything to do with aggro, is giving rogues more hide mods, and making bard jolt not so obnoxious to use. Past that, aggro is nbd.
