bango didnt tank for their main exp groups as he wouldnt hold aggro (is the rumor as I was not around then)
The truth of this sentence has nothing to do with anything else. It's transcendent knowledge.You have to learn how to stop worrying and love the Bango.
Waiting patiently.
I thought about this over and over and to me the most important aspect about needing a boost in threat generation is say I'm off-tanking a few weeny mobs while the SK is tanking a boss. If suddenly the SK goes down there is no chance in hell I'm able to go and take agro on the boss whereas a ranger or monk that was killing the weeny mobs with me can - this has happened countless times and we wipe as a result. SKs and Wars have the ability to grab agro quickly and save the raid, a paladin which is supposed to be a part of the tank class should also be able to save a raid. Why not make the taunt button function the way it does on live (puts you on the top of the agro list +1 threat) so that we have a fighting chance? I think the maltreatment of paladins is a running joke for the GMs. Is there a GM out there that actually understands paladins?
Ringo = why paladins were nerfed ?
Bango = why paladins aren't fixed ?
SK is not typicaly going to be able to just pull snap aggro on a mob you have been killing with a raid for 20 some % of its health if he/she hasn't already been building up aggro there taunt button works just as well as yours(doesn't), As a pal with a SK maintanking your raid you should be going hog building aggro behind the SK so that your not trying to play catch up if he/she dies.
As a example and one from a terrible player, One day Exo was killing Gongo, Memu was tanking, Uzzdaar was sitting there aggroing the shit outa gongo with severance in, stole aggro from memu a few times until we screamed at him about being bad, This is about where you should be on any raid, a few casts/bashs from stealing aggro, if your not your doing it wrong.
