Manifistation in prison

I believe manifistation to be above his tier in difficulty. We had a pretty good setup yesterday and had a very hard time on manis and we have had problems on manis the last month everytime we tried him. Sure we killed them but we shouldnt have so much trouble with them since we have no trouble on Versikol (CoD) or Yash and Dey (IP).

Now this is not a thread cause i want to be able to kill it everytime i see them up. Heck i dont even think we really need anything they drop. (it would not all rot or so but we can get better) Its more for guilds that would be upcomming and need to kill them to progress past them in prison. We have 2 tanks that are geared past them easy. And still have a very hard time on them. I cant imagine how a guild with no access to Mirrors would be able to do them.
 
Ask Fusion about it they are at the stage to kill Manis after they got the key from MoTG that happened 2 weeks ago ? .

But anyways Mirror Golem fight is alot easier than Manis imo.
 
Manis were very carefully rebalanced at the start of 2.0 when Steel was breaking into them. They should still be fine, I don't know why they wouldn't be.
 
Ruin also went thru them, it took careul planning but is able to be done.
Ruin did them when you could still have 36 on a raid. Wich makes this completely irrelevant.

I believe them to be off on difficulty. Sure i dont mind less competition on Mirrors/teash just thought i should bring it up.
 
If anything I'd say mirrors / taesh may be too easy.

Mirrors are pretty hard as they are now if you ask me. You need a very good shadowknight to them and then still its a fight where people really need to know what they are doing and do it flawless. Cant say anything about teash cause its been like months since last time we did teash.
Id sure like to see a guild that has no people with loot from past manis try them to see how they are. (didnt steel have a couple chars that had gear from past manis?)

Maybe it would help if those pesky adds they spawn all the time would stop summoning the healers around the place, last night i had to move back out of the Fire mani's AE range like 3 times because i kept being summoned by them. I really couldnt care less if like 3-4 are hitting me (from the front :)), but when they summon you all the time and thus interrupt heals then things go south :(

edit. i do see how a guild like Fusion, whom recently got access to Mani's could have trouble with this. With the gear from PoT & PoA they are able to gather and (for some) the motg items this will be a pretty tough cookie to chew on.

This sounds pretty much as if your strat is..... flawed.
 
Well, last night we pretty killed them in an almost perfect manner... i dont think a 'flawed' strategy has anything to do with it here. One odd detail might be tho that i only got summoned during Fire & Vapor, where a a warrior tanked. While we had Earth & Air tanked by a SK :p
 
Funny thing when i was waiting for Ice manifestation to Pop. I went summoned middle of courtyard by an elemental ;) could have cause drama lol.
 
Maybe make the adds a bit stronger but not summon ? LB summoning mobs are a bit :psyduck: , unless its in a TMap cause they're all supposed to summon if I'm not wrong.

A bit stonger (more dps) adds might be ok if the trade off is that they stop summoning! I dont think they should get more hp tho, or at least, not more hp then the AE of a wizzy/mage can do. If they cant be destroyed in a single blast like they can now things will rapidly deteriorate when trying to get rid them them...
 
I have never fought Manis before, but it seems a few encounters we have done share the same characteristics as this one. Many encounters that "should" be easier then others are indeed "harder" and vice versa. This definitely has to do with the raid force at hand, however, so I would really have to attempt this fight to throw in my 2cp. This is just my 1cp.

I am pretty sure this type of encounter is quite unique in SoD! At least, i cant think of anything like this.

I meant that it was similar in the aspect of being harder then higher tiered encounters.
 
Dandy Gentlemen progressed into Prison from planar tiers and everything in OP seems to be balanced alright as far as progression is concerned. At the end of Dandy we had killed Mani's about 3 times and wiped on mirrors around 4 times w/ no successes. You just need to find a system that works for your guild and Mani's is one of those fights where having a lot of bots can really hurt you.
