Manifistation in prison

I'll make the elementals not summon and give them a super fast run speed to prevent kiting.

Id sure like to see a guild that has no people with loot from past manis try them to see how they are. (didnt steel have a couple chars that had gear from past manis?)

Inc fusion. Ya'll should have waited untill after tonight when we post our wipe video. We are soon about to see how a guild with gearwise all the way upto them. There has been some nice fights in nightmare that somewhat mirror the golems/manis...in someways.

Fusion is the bomb.

We killed MoTG, Manis, and Mirrors in Defiance before we reformed Steel.

But all the characters we had when we farmed Manis(even tho we didn't really) weren't geared past that tier.

Correct, and yeah, Defiance nor Steel at the time had no characters geared past OP level. At all.

If taesh is made harder, i think mani's should be made easier -- I'm not really into upsetting the balance. Or like ryu said, we could let fusion test the encounters as they progress through.

Guys guys. Let's let fusion test to see if things are too easy...

Actually the better strategy would be to make the mobs harder and let fusion test if they are too hard, because for some mysterious reason players tend not to mention when encounters are too easy for their loot.

Bring it on.

Fusion is perfect example for this kind of thing. But there is one thing. Our leet strats of wiping a few times to make the mob feel sorry for us and then going easy on us may affect your plan.

oh noes strat leak.

Fusion is the perfect example for this kind of thing. But there is one thing. We are very full of skills.

Aswell though it is very important to note that certain mobs are infact not easy but guilds may be just above the teir for that mob. Aswell, certain mobs may seem easier than they actually are after they have been downed a few times. For instance, even if a guild stuck to 1 mob and only took their loot (to say as a whole the guild hasn't progressed a ton) if they keep fighting the same dude back to back, well they are going to know the strat IE be able to take him down much easier each time.

Manis always was a fight that could go very wrong at any given second, even if slightly overgeared for the encounter. (and ya Ruin did em well after 36 man cap went poof)

I dont know that making it easier is the way to go. Manis is deffo not a fight you can/should walk into and win first or second shot. It takes a decent amount of teamwork and knowing what to expect in order to lock it down smoothly.

I cant say much about Mirrors, pretty much everybody knows the one trick they have and that fight is basically a tank and spank. Never seemed hard unless healers were caught napping. Anticlimactic after Manis, thats for sure.

Just be glad that the newer guilds do not have to deal with the annoying gauntlet statues combat bugging the raid.

As far as Taesh goes, hes been flat out gimp since 2.0 came into play and its quite a downer considering who he is supposed to be. IMO any guild that can kill Manis can EASILY steamroll taesh and I do not think that was how it was meant to be. /shrug

GL in prison guys.

That's true to an extent, but taesh is *seriously* weaksauce post-2.0. In 1.0, he was King Bigdick out of OP--he served as gatekeeper much the same way Alpha Wolf Jeremiah does for nightmare (and taesh's difficulty didn't go away once you figured him out). However, since 2.0 he's been less gatekeeper, more vallet parking.

Forgetting the OP and the real intention of the thread, I love how 'the usual suspects' pop out their small heads (big heads, small brains?) in the same old tired way. :psyduck:

Oh, and skipping manis and doing mirrors is an A+ strat for up-and-comers.

Isnt there a pesky gate in the way thats supposed to prevent that?

Been awhile, but I thought you needed to kill manis for a key to get to mirrors.
