Well thats great news about the lvl increase. I got up to 35 during the exp weekend and was kinda bummed that I would be missing out on some adept tries. Had a great time with my first one. What time do you usually get together? I notice you are on EST so want to make the attempt to be online in the right timeframe.

I'm actually on pacific, but since more people are on east or know how to convert from est, I use that. I would change it but by now I've used it so long that switching it up may cause some confusion.
We usually do raids at around 9 est (6 pacific) though sometimes we get held up, and the realistic ending time would be about two or three hours later to be safe. Things happen, and sometimes not everyone's available right away, so you have to wait. Which brings up my next point: patience is imperative in these raids! If you hurry me you will not make anything go faster and will only make me annoyed. I know that people don't like waiting too long, so if you're still waiting that means I'm working to make things easier and better for everyone. I've gotten better at setting these things up, seeing as the first few raids were not only my first time leading them, but the first time even participating in a raid! If I make a few mistakes, I ask you to forgive me, as I am doing the best I can to make this fun for everyone.

I think you did a great job the other day. Having been through more than my share of raids where prep time was at least 2 hours only to do something like step through the portal into Fear, get wiped, then endure a 4 hour corpse rocovery effort, I can appreciate you words. Looking forward to more fun.

Great pictures, Brimz, good to have a caster who can take pictures from a safe distance so I can avoid letting my guard slip while trying to get the right angle. Also, what UI is that you're using, I really like it and want to use it

I think you're doing a wonderful job Drak! I wish I could participate more because the AH group is a great thing and a ton of fun (even if I continually get my ass handed to me). 8-9pm est is perfect and I'll last as long as I can. Getting old sucks but having a little baby girl to take care of rocks.

Alright, I'm scheduling a raid for tommorow at 8 est, get your grind on if you haven't hit 35 yet. Hope most of you can come.

moving the raid to friday so everyone has time to hit 35 and gain skills, this way we can take all three of the adepts in one go.
I'm thinking a lot of the original hunters have moved on...that is...except for me heh. But I've been questing a bit so it hasn't been a loss for me. That and the fact that I haven't seen Drak on in awhile probably hasn't helped much. God knows I wouldn't want to try and organize a raid. I'll leave the dirty work to upper management.
Yeah I noticed that Drak hasn't been on and many others are now in the low to mid 40s. I was plat farming for a bit to get better equipment and questing to slow my xp progress so I didn't go past the max engage level but when I dinged 36, I suddenly realized that I hadn't heard anything about the Adept hunts.
Oh well.
I used to organize raids on live but found it too irritating and time consuming to even attempt here in SoD. I too will leave it to those with more patience.

I went out of town for 10 days myself, and hadnt seen Draknor around since then. Everyone else I had on friends list had leveled up and out of my range as well, so I began having real problems getting a group to level, and Rogues dont solo so well. So I broke down and started a Druid so I can 2 box when I catch up with Ectom and level when I cant find a group. When my Druid got to lvl 11, I started a Beetle Queen raid, successfully took her down, then most of that group picked up a couple lvl 13's and we then took down Angar the Sandlord. I'll be trying to arrange some more Adept raids myself, but for the old crew, I wont be able to start the lvl 36 Adepts again for some time. My Druids name is Vellum, lvl 14 now. I'll start planning lower level Adept raids again on a new thread. If any of you have lower level alts that would want to join, great. My main problem is that until Vellum reaches lvl 29, I dont have a porter to help taxi people around to the Adepts, something that can be a real showstopper.

Ok, to keep the ball rolling, I'm going to be attempting a Treant/Sandjaw hunt Wednesday 7-12 at 9pm EST. Please post here if interested and intending to attend. Max lvl is 32. Send tells to Ectom. You can expect to see my /OOC in case you forget the name. Be aware it may take some time to get enough raiders, and get to Adept. PLanning on Treant first, Sandjaw if we have the numbers. Any porters (even above 32) who can assist in pickups will be MOST welcome.
If this goes successfully, I know several Adept Hunters have not gone above 36 yet, and maybe we can get this rolling along again. Once again, post if you'de like to attend, so I can get an idea of numbers.

Flaahn (35 dru) and I (35 pal) would be ready to try any of the 35/36/36 adeps if others are around..maybe I'll see if there's people on tonight. About how many people does it take for one of them? (Sorry, we only started a month ago so I haven't had any experience with adepts)
