Input on new Druid heals

if I could tell the future I would buy every single lotto ticket and I will be rich, however I'm not rich and when I'm focusing on healing the main tank I can't be bothered of guessing when is that enchanter or any group member will do something stupid and get killed, specially since this HoTs are mana costly I jsut can't afford to be tossing one every time I think chanter may get agro. Now I wish I could also read minds. Man I just try to keep things simple but people just keep yapping trying to make things hard.

HoTs are not intended for every conceivable healing situation. If your Enchanter grabs agro, use your quick heal. That's what it is for. Which is what the Sad Fish said. Interesting that you didn't respond to that part of his post??

So currently with 5 codex of power done, and an alteration mod of 8, chloroshock hits for 2080, a good 1400 under what an equal mod cleric can do. Essentially, I feel like hots are an adequate means of doing our main tank healing. But after doing a decent amount more 6 mans over the past week, I still can't catch up when the tank starts falling like a cleric can. The only hope is to pray for double hot crits along with a quick heal crit.

Long story short, I still feel like we should have a better emergency heal that isn't Vim.

Considering that druids have a long cast time on their HoT's, and CH's, as well as the low amount that revatalize and chloroshock heal for; it really makes them too heavily reliant on crits for any situation where they have either fallen behind in healing, need to land an "ho shit exiuv just dotted that mezzed mob and its on ravik" heals, or a "godamit our rogues are competing for top dps again and their evades just failed four times in a row" heals.

I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but I really think that druid heal buff that was talked about would take care of these issues quite well; and again, as I know spells are limited just toss DRU on VoA.

That wouldn't fit the lore, something called Vessel of Sihala would make more sense.

Druids can swear Althuna. My paladin heal has the name of Malath even though hes not a frawg. I think we can swing this by lore wise =P

About the hot's, they could just be toned down the 10% druid direct heals would gain to balance it out.

Yeah the whole double HoT thing while nice is kinda annoying and a pain. One big relic style hot but obviously slightly less powerful would be more than enough. Make it a lvl 65spell.
