Druids, Frank and you?

Anyone who thinks Enchanters still has issues has lost my ear. Is it particularly fun? Only if your using charm, but underpowered and without a role? Hardly.

In 6 man content they have a lot of problems, most notably the one where they crash the zone when they die/leave group/sit/stand too quickly or the one where bards are required for most content so your enchanter ends up taking a dps slot which even with providing shared mind/glory of enthann they still fail to reach the level of any dps that could of been in the slot. I hate short term buffs but if you want to argue enchanter viability they should really give something that cannot be soulbound in the city. The idea of giving enchanters melody of the shield owned. Why would you take an enchanter, you have an inferior and very resistible slow, chokehold(brand) is nice but will it make a difference? Doubt it. Gonna mez shit? Too bad the necromancer basically does this just as well in the content I have witnessed and not to mention the oh best dps in game.

Yeah this thread is about druids though lets talk about them.

Fair enough, I'm sure another enchanter thread will crop up sooner rather than later. Though I though the crash bug was squelched. Reason to suspect otherwise.

Yep, far as I can tell enchanters are good, charming with vedoc was awesome and hilarious, and extremely effective despite his shittastic gear. But yeah back to druids.

Play a T8 clr myself and don't see druids being so bad off they can't fill a healer slot on any raid we've done through T9 so far. If anything, maybe knocking a second off their gheal might be nice for them.

Druid gheal is what we call in literature a "red herring". Making it instant cast would still not let druids replace clerics on the most challenging 6 man content.

Also I have nothing to do with literature it's a joke I heard in Castle.

Lol, Castle is where I learned all I know about literature ngl.

Yes the real issue with content being undoable by druids is a cleric spell.

I lol'd

Nah but seriously, GHots aren't overpowered for clerics, its a class defining ability they have. Yeah I know paladins have it to but their GHots are like the retarded cousin trying imitate his uncle at a game of basketball. Druids just lack that "defining ability" that makes them awesome in XX type of healing.

Why not make druids the best in group healing? Clerics have the most powerful healing overall and shamans are the best sustained healing, so why not make druids the best at group heals?

As of now, druids get their last group before ikisith at 63. What about a relic-level gheal for them? A little faster casting than circle of eternity and more mana efficient, but not as powerful?

Clerics class defining ability seems to be more along the lines of them being best to okay at absolutely everything, with the best applying to every form of healing, and not just best by a little either.

clarification: change circle of vitality, and those times are w/ csi 7. Druid gheal = circle of vitality, ghot = vim.

So making druid GHeal a 3second cast, and making cleric gheal like a 6 second cast, is going to fix druids? Nerfing another class doesn't make the other one better, its just makes everything worse.

Most of the arguments, even by myself, in this thread have been for a quicker GHeal. But I think the true solution to this, is a class defining ability. We do nothing better than anybody else. Anything we can do, they can do better. That is pretty much the main issue with druids.
