Cleric Thaz BP

The Paladin armor is a blue color, so I'm not opposed to changing this to purple; it's just a matter of me fixing the problem with not being able to edit items locally before I can make the changes.

Send me the color# and I'd be happy to send Wiz the replace file for you (if you have a way to even get the color# that is). :)

I am happy that the color is being looked into, but that really wasnt the main reason for the post, it was more of an afterthought. Is there any chance of the cleric set, specifically the bp getting looked at?

I'm surprised people are focusing on the color portion of the Cleric BP. It's probably one of the 'worst' upgraded Thaz items, right next to the Druid BP chest piece. I realize this thread is only about the Cleric item, but they both suffer from lack of effects and advanced effects. What about something like:

Chestguard of the Divine
MAGIC ITEM LORE ITEM NO DROP
Slot: CHEST
AC: 62
Focus Effect: Range Increment VII
Skill Mod: Alteration +8
STA: +15 WIS: +25 CHA: +18 HP: +180
Mana: +220
MR: +11 FR: +11 CR: +11 PR: +11 DR: +11
Aggression -1% Stun Resist +3%
Weight: 10.0 Size: Large
Class: CLR
Race: ALL

And the Druid BP:

Glade-mist Tunic
MAGIC ITEM LORE ITEM NO DROP
Slot: CHEST
AC: 35
Effect: Nature's Fury (combat)
Focus Effect: Mana Conservation VII
Skill Mod: Alteration +5
STA: +10 WIS: +22 CHA: +20 HP: +190
Mana: +220
MR: +11 FR: +11 CR: +11 PR: +11 DR: +11
Weight: 10.0 Size: Large
Class: DRU
Race: ALL

To be honest -aggression would be kinda nice on druid bp too, since druids don't have aggro reducing AAs (especially noticable when they debuff and nuke).
Sorry for derailing.

The effect (which is already in the game, no idea WHY it's not actually on the BP) is -350 agro if you're getting hit and a 275/tick HoT for 18 seconds.

Once Taeshlin robes get nerfed (as I can only assume in the upcoming gear changes in the works) This bp will seem a lot better =).

I did not compare it to taesh on purpose. It is not on par with the other class bp's.

I didn't comment on the other stuff because it's not something as simple to decide on as the color of the armor. I'll see about coming up with something for the cleric bp to make it better; the suggestions aren't bad ones.

As for the Druid BP, Nature's Touch is supposed to be the reactive, not Nature's Fury, so yeah I'll have Jayelle fix that.

Got the two mixed up, Nature's Fury is already on the Bracer!

An alteration mod of +15, 20, or 25 would be great. +Alteration would hopefully make a bit of a difference as far as fizzles and such.

Also the cleric bracer is missing an effect, as is the necro one. Just a few ideas in case there isn't a proc already planned out:

Proc that adds a buff to self that decreases mana cost of heals by a large (25-70) percent that only lasts a few ticks.
Proc that adds a buff to self that decreases mana cost of heals by a small (10-25) percent but lasts a minute or so.
Proc thar adds a buff to self that increases heal crit rate.
Proc that adds a hot to the target.

The originally designed bracer proc was one that reduced the cost of heals. The problem came in the fact that the ability to limit a focus to specific spells isn't implemented.

I'm not a coder, so I can't do anything in that regard. I also considered an AC buff proc, or a HoT proc, but let's be realistic. People complain about buff slots as is; I want to try to limit what affects other people with these bracer procs.

hmm, even if it were a blanket mana conservation proc I don't see how that would be a big problem? On basically every boss fight ever I cast either a hot, LoE, or my relic remedy spell. Even if it were mana conservation affecting all spells it wouldn't affect the raid game, only potentially groups where I might be inclined to nuke a little more often.

I really think either of these would be super ideas. People getting healed almost always leave a buffslot open for HoT's anyways. Or they should!
