make a toon

join the best guild you can, and gear up then hop guilds until you are all decked out t9/10/11ish.

farm supreme/tomes and befriend people in the top guild. join it as soon as you can, even w/o a raid spot. then just be around/show up to 100% of raids. eventually someone will quit or slack off to the point that you get a spot.

keep showing up 100% of raids, farm supreme if you don't already have it, max out tomes.

if you have bad luck, you picked a class where someone else has had very high attendance a lot longer than you. if that's the case you have to wait for them to quit, or pass them by getting more quest/6man/exp/charm/etc

essentially it comes down to just putting lots of time, befriending the right people, and having enough skill to beat w/e content is out there.

the cool part is that once you make it there, you don't have to play 40hrs a week anymore, just show up for raids, 6man, and exp enough to fill opuses
 
and if you suck play a healer because its easy to get carried by the other 4 and no one will ever know (trust me i know)

Whoa whoa whoa. What you mean is, if you suck, get carried by Zurkka. He can carry all 4 of the other healers on his back.
 
healer is one of the harder classes to suck at and get carried.

sure, on healing a single tank its pretty near impossible to say who if anyone fucked up, but when you have intense AE/PS fights you have to be competent. Its not really difficult, but compared to a long of other classes its easy.

Wanna slack off and still be awesome/desired? Play a dps class other than a monk pulling.

With that said, just about any class can still show lots of skill on certain fights.
 
i cant look at fomelos right now hence my boredom, but i think:

valdian #1 super baller pet and superior foci/tomes?
isnt nara>thade
stryda is somewhere on there

thats funny solo. I was thinking the same thing when i was looking at the mage and warrior top 5. Imo valdian #1 because his dps has to be much higher than aisling and sintasia with that pet and its class tomes. Would def pref vald in a raid/group with that stuff. Stryda with his ac def earns him a spot there too.

Tomes
Even if you washed the his defensive tomes for my stats, my splitting 3 to his crip 2 puts me ahead in dps.

Complete cancellation stat for stat puts me at a minor defensive edge and a decent offensive. Add the -8 aggression and I pull way ahead.

Also need all stars
