Constant repetitive key pressing isn't challenging, it's tedious
This is what I agree about. Being able to twist mana, haste, SoW, whatever else, is not making the bard class too easy. And when something does happen for CCing, the bard will need to put the same attention he would not DCing as you can't twist CCing, and if it is possible things can still screw up.
Having symphonies will not simplify the bard in a way overpowering. Also, I'm 100% up there with this idea because of Karpal Tunnel (spelling? =\), arthritis, and tendenitis. And yes, those are actually possible if you play alot on the computer doing stuff that a bard would have to do. Constant clicking like that is retarded. My hands get annoyed enough using the canni key, I couldn't imagine even trying to play bard. (Being a musician, I'm afraid of the above problems) I haven't seen a bard complain about syphonies being put in in this post.
The people who disagree don't seem to get it. Go make a bard for 65 levels, and then do 200 AAs and come back and tell us how much you disagree that symphonies should get put in, after you realized the tediousness, the sore hands, and lowered playtime due to how stressful playing the class is. How many main bards are there level 65 who play. Foma, Timir, Pharuan..I don't even see all three online alot. I know quite a few bards who gave up and started a new character because of this also. I propose auto attack be taken out for some of the melee healing combos so that I realize just how tedious being a bard is. I bet without autoattack, bards (good bards) would still be doing more.
