Zaela is going to kill me.... but.....

I was thinking... What if bosses dropped progressiveley better pet weapons on every boss. add's a bit of flavor..

As of right now there's next to 0 reason to kill a boss again after you've killed it unless you're getting a friend the challenge points. With a chance or 100% chance at getting some pet weps i would definatley kill the bosses again as i went through.
 
Dude, I'm pretty sure she's done with Nadox. It's her Oggok Mines.

Not to say I wouldn't love more Nadox, but you really need to accept this.
 
Dev's don't like to step on other Dev's toes. That, I believe, is the reason the Lands of Magic were blown up (but would always love to see those zones come back), as well as a few other zones during the life of the server. There have been, of course, a few exceptions, like when First Ruins was updated from a 20-30 and 50+ zone to strictly 65-65+ when diety augs and zones were released, or when Kelethin and Athica were repopulated after the mist was banished. I would not expect this for Nadox though.

While it is true that Nadox doesn't get used as much as it should, I think it should remain mostly left alone. I mean, nobody has even beaten the zone yet, right? It is a nice zone to have off to the side and for 6 random people to jump in and do every once in a while for something different. I had a lot of fun the last time we went there and we literally had 6 random people from several different guilds and as I understand it we got the 2nd furthest, or at least tied with the furthest, that any group had ever gotten previously. It is really good XP and as long as everyone is working together, you can avoid wipes pretty easily.

I'd suggest then that you/we/etc wait until the zone is "beaten" and then make a really nice write-up to present to Zaela about any other changes. She might be more inclined to go back and take another look or two if a big list of things was presented in-large by a few people or group of people who took the time to clear the place out completely, as opposed to just going back into the code for a few random nit-picky things.
 
I've been slack and only gotten through the challenger, 4 stabilized elementals, and to the second beacon. Maybe this weekend I'll grab Oozu, get a Nadox group, wait 2 hours for him to get back from AFK, and down some more bosses.

Nadox only relic spells, you think this is doable? Nadox versions of relics that only work in nadox?
Perhaps each boss can drop them?
This might level the playing field for casters. As it is currently relics/archaix play a HUGE difference in here.

I would like to take more melee into nadox but I'm about 80% sure I'm better off bringing a Caster instead. Any chance we can make a small buff to melee weps?

I would go with that one. And completely remove stats from gear rather than reduce by 90%; 10% of raid gear still makes a fairly big difference. Would put a standardized set of stats on the charm slot to make sure people have enough HP to not get aego bug and to have a little bit of mana to work with.

But then stuff would have to be rebalanced and I don't care to do any of that.
 
Nerf relics/archaix and gear down some more.
Add a few more expable or non expable nadox loots.

A Bow - dropped from all mobs
Necklace- Undead
Hoop that goes in earing/rings with focus effects Haste, manaCON,Healing ,DI ect... This would allow people to pick up to 4 focus effects- Dropped from any elemental

Adding the focus effects would level out the field for casters, and adding a haste would bring melee up to par. Putting in a bow will give rangers a chance and add some more stats for people to equip.
 
rangers need arrows too, only way to get arrows atm is a mage or waste your own pre summoned arrows (they have 0 dmg inside)
 
Making quivers clickable in Nadox is something I'd support. It was done for a few items like the Athica gate neck.
