I'm pretty torn on this idea. I sort of feel like it is hand-holding. Generally with a little common sense you can steer clear of killing anything that will negatively impact factions you want. You mentioned factions in ikisith that start out kos but I mean they have an entire society in a hostile and foreign land it's not a huge leap in logic to think they aren't simply for killing.
