whats your perfect group setup?

i'd like to add, that playing a SK Sham combo is a ton of button clicking, it's so much easyer to heal and keep argo when i sub out my sham for my Cleric. It's almost too much some times, can't keep up on the canni. I think a SK druid would work too. I can't say for sure if it's the same with pally but one would assume so.

as for a group makeup i would have to say

SK
cleric
sham
mage
wiz
necro

or

Pal
druid
ench
rog
bl
mag

why would you have a chanter in grp with paladin if you already have a slower? i can only think of a few grp situations where you would actually WANT a chanter for xp grp.

Why not? Enchanters are always useful. Just because paladins can aoe tank doesn't mean they have to.

It all depends on the tier. Once you get to Tier 7+, enchanters definitely lose their spots in exp. groups. Why wouldn't you choose dps over someone who can mez when you just AE kill everything down? The mobs are too weak and the lack of hard exp. zones makes this happen.

On lower tiers, they are nice, but I would always choose a bard over them because I am slightly biased.

It is sad to say but yea, you dont need enchanters for high end exp and in low end, a bard works just as well. :(

all I can say is.....giantkin x 2 makes enchanter useful in groups....

However, even though I main an enchanter, the best exp groups hands down are:

Necro, Necro, Paladin, Bard, Druid, Shaman

Buff beforehand, and replace the shaman with a beastlord. More dps overall.

paladin, magician, rogue, wizard, bard, druid.

You could probably use the magician to pull with his/her pet.

Ofcourse, get all your cleric/shammy/enchanter buffs first.

I disagree. Opposed to bst/clr, a shm/clr can dps for a considerable degree when in a low-risk area where with a beastlord, the cleric would be 100% on heals. When in a higher difficulty area the higher heals, better slows, and debuffs outweigh the benefit from a beast.

I am curious about all the Paladin suggestions, especially the ones tied to a healer. I did ok up til about lvl 50, but after that trying to maintain aggro on the Paladin while healing, was pretty hard. One of my worst experiences was trying to tank and heal tmaps. Talk about stress!!!!

As far as aislings screenshot, I think our xp band was a better group than our group there. The group we had there was an encounter specific group.

Also, every class has its benefits depending on your group composition and zone you will be xping in.

I'd say a better question would be the most dynamic group. Or the best group for the most things. In the end though, its all about fun. I group w/ jenks all the time. Do we need 2 tanks? Not at all, but we're good friends and we have fun together, so we group.

Play the classes you enjoy, and stick with the people you like, that will be the perfect group for you.

I was deffo referring to the band as the ideal, it kinda covers bases pretty well.
