what kind of music do you listen to?

No specific playlist since I'm at work right now, but I listen to a huge variety of stuff. Usually I listen to modern rock, pop, hip hop, chillout and vocal trance... and umm... whatever the hell category Josh Groban fits into. Vocal? Vocal pop? Popera? IDK.

I enjoy almost any kind of music, though, with the exception of metal and freaky ass jungle trance shit. I like country, most rap, classical (and its derivatives), blues, folk/bluegrass, choral and a capella, DnB, you name it.

Lately I've been listening to Conjure One, Josh Groban, Blue October, Bad Religion, Flipsyde, Sarah McLachlan (sp), and My Chemical Romance in the car. At home I mostly listen to the .977 or sky.fm top hits webradio. When I feel like mixing it up, I usually switch to di.fm Chillout or something Bluegrass from Shoutcast.

I'll listen to just about any style, but pretty much only Country for American... i really love ballads and instrumental solos. the only groups outside country that i like is Queen, Savatage, and Aerosmith. oh, and around Christmas time: Trans-Siberian Orchestra ftw!

I listen to pretty much everything out of Japan, ranging from B'z for ballads/rock, to move for the rock/rap, to melody. and tommy for pop. Brilliant Green was brilliant... i also listen to m-flo for pop/rap. rie fu. kosaka riyu, kimura kaela. yeah. you name the japanese artist and as long as they aren't anime, i've most likely at least heard of them and can offer an intelligent opinion oh. dai, dat, dct and evt were amazing. (if you listen to those groups, you'll recognize them by the acronyms)

i also listen to classical and some techno, and of course SNES era video game music. The Black Mages are amazing. Uematsu is a genius.

i do listen to some indies, but i'm not one of those crazy "it must be unknown!" people.

Lots of good bands in there. If you get a chance go and see Dir en Grey and especially The Gazette live - they're awesome.

Some amazing stuff in this list.

I'd like to add the following to it:

Dream Theater
Placebo (deserves to be named again)
Therion
Samsas Traum
Skyclad
Tiamat
Deine Lakeien/Alexander Veljanov
And to completely fuck this list up: Hocico (Most of you prolly won't like this. Also I was going to link the song "Poltergeist" with an "Elfenlied" AMV but that would've got me banned. Note that this is only second choice).

Why did you edit your first post and post this again Brimz? :what:
Because I am highly bored and have nothing to do. :(

I also tried to look at the post before and the chart wasn't working for some reason when I looked.
