Hello, which is a good combo to start playing with 2 characters at once and is not even very complicated?
and if you recommend me which race would go well for this class will appreciate, since i'm newbie. thanks you

Good morning,

There are various ways you can approach this situation.

#1 - Shaman/Shadowknight

#2 - monk/ranger/shadowknight/paladin/bard (stuff that gets hit)+ cleric/druid/shaman (stuff that heals things)- Pick whatever you want.

If you just want to float around and just have fun at your own pace and do almost anything, Cleric and warrior. It's boring if you're alone but that's what the other group slots are for. Just /ooc hey, i need people that press buttons to fill my group.

Talk to people, enjoy yourself. There's a fine line between achieving your goal and walking over people, ride that line and wreck the hell out of everything in your path.

Race doesn't matter, pick what you think is cool and it will work out (You'll be in some illusion later in the game 99% of the time anyways)

Learning to search the forums and the Wiki page will also help for any situation.
Any tank and any healer is a strong 2box combination. You'll get various responses saying why a pally or a warrior might be better than an SK, or why a shaman might be better than a cleric, but the overall differences aren't large enough to play something different than SK/Cleric if that's what you want to play. In general, paladins are seen as the strongest of the tank classes with their ability to hold aggro on groups of mobs the easiest, while also having a useful buff and great self heals and a group heal over time. Shadowknights still tank just fine though, and you won't really be tanking more than 2-3 things at a time until you are a high level with good gear. Clerics and shamans are each considered more powerful/in demand than druids, but any of the three are fine for 2boxing.

You'll be perfectly capable to duo all the way to 65 and beyond, but of course getting some DPS/Utility classes to group with you will allow you to kill faster and more at a time. You'll also have the ability to split up large groups of mobs while you are 2boxing by yourself once you get feign death on the SK. This is awesome for sniping a named that you come across, or breaking up a tough room so you can camp it easily.

Tanks can be rather expensive to gear up if you try to get the best of the best of buyable items, but you can still make enough money while leveling to afford good gear. The really expensive items don't really start until level 55 generally, and at that point you'll be able to grind in areas that provide good money in addition to experience.

Races really don't matter much, especially if you aren't a hardcore min/maxxer. Dark elves look the coolest, Iksar probably have the best racial for a tank, and the cleric races are all pretty well balanced compared to each other. (At least as far as I am aware; racials were changed recently but I seem to recall that they are all pretty even now).

The primary stat points for the classes are going to be wisdom for the cleric and pretty much all of the melee stats along with intelligence for the SK. I still wouldn't suggest putting your starting points into wisdom as a cleric though, since it's pretty easy to cap once you get to a higher level, while stamina or other stats are going to be much harder.

I'd really advise you to look at Adepts while you level. They are mini-raid mobs that all have a certain maximum level that you can engage them at (Ranging from level 1 up to the 50s). They are a great source of gear and unique items, and if you're leveling untwinked getting adept loot will make your life a lot easier.

Bst/clr is unusual, but I enjoy it.
Really, any mix of tank typ + healer type will work out best. If you plan on just being your own duo most of the time, I would suggest a hybrid tank (sk/pally) with a druid (for ports later).

As for races, choose which ones you think look cool. The stat differences won't matter as much as you think. Though you can certainly min/max the race for the class combos you choose.

Bard/Sham all the utility you will ever need in a nice neat package, bard can take hits shaman can slow/dps can't go wrong!

thanks for all the advice in the end decided to follow what said Orcus and I decided to start with a warrior and a cleric, thanks you

You will find it quite painful to move around without porter,Cleric only good in the very highend
game, you should play a Druid, has the advantage of lot of utilities (ports, damageshields, run
speed buffs, etc.) and healing abilities almost on par with a Cleric. He is also very wanted in the raid game since the latest changes(Heal over time spells).

cleric is wanted 10x more than a druid in the raid game any day of the week. even with latest changes still no reason to have more than one in a raid really.

Friend of mine is currently raising a monk/shaman combo and he's really enjoying it.

Shaman can slow, haste, buff and heal the monk which is really great.
Monk makes a sub-par tank but the slow and the buffs is more than enough.

Plus, monk can pull singles with feign death and has a higher DPS than tank classes.

I'd be curious myself how a dual mage would fare though. One with an earth pet, the other with a water pet (root + slow). Both mages can heal their pets and this must be a pretty good DPS output.

Even if you don't enjoy running around like early days of live, there's the mansion of portals if you are willing to pay attention when you run through it, and eventually gate necks if you're willing to do the work involved in getting them. Porters are pretty convenient though.

Cleric only good in the very highend

and the low end and middle end and early high end....

Druid......He is also very wanted in the raid game since the latest changes(Heal over time spells).

Unless they already have one.

I'd think one of your two you'd want to be one of the 3 healer classes. Any of the three have their advantages and disadvantages. You'll just have to look it up and see which things you want to have or don't mind living without. My healer box is a shaman, and the buffs and slows are awesome, but he doesn't heal anywhere close to as good as a cleric would. Sometimes I wish I had done a cleric, but I'm sure if I did a cleric there would be times I'd wish I had been a druid or shaman.

Cleric - heal better
Druid - utility
Shaman - kill targets quicker

Ive boxed all three, I like shaman the best. I have thought occasionally of starting a new shaman and boxing a mage with it, for shits and giggles. Thoughts?

I'm leveling up a Shaman for just that reason, jules...
I have to say, I'm digging the Shaman, should go great with the Mage.
Can't comment on the lower levels, but seems like it could be a fun box, if you have the pet management skills to stick with it.

Prolly oughta add that Companion Strength and Companion Health items are a must. Even with some uber buffage, these effects go a long way.
