I thought that maybe on this sort of server, that the majority of the population would support the game, and donate, not buy into the game. But it seems that from some people, for them to be happy they will only 'donate' and i use donate loosly, if they get something for it, which for me is where it turns from donating to a service subscription.
My issue with the changes are, that i'm afraid that the changes will have to go further if more subscriptions are required. And also I'm sure there are other non benifical incentives (Not that i believe people should need them) similar to what i suggested.
Shut the server down for a couple of days and watch em donate. I'm not sure they'd mind paying the $4 compared to the $15 EQ...
