Unspent AA Limit ?

If it's taking you this long to get that bag, perhaps traek's bag just isn't worth it man. If the bag helps you less than all those AA's would then I'd have to say that you'd be far better off going to level now instead of constantly saving up AA's. Or, if the bag is worth it, then realize your going to have to sacrifice some advancement in order to get it. Your on the edge of the cliff, it's time to step away from it or jump over, but complaining about the difficulty of the decision doesn't seem to be helping you any.

Man, what's the big deal with Traek anyway? i've seen a few of his items and frankly why even bother waiting around so long? Sure it's cool to kill him, but it's also cool to level up your character, get into a good raiding guild, and start killing crap in DHK / PoT / Prison / etc. And the loot you get from that time spent will far surpass Traek's stuff, not to mention the time invested for one or two pieces is matched with five or six or seven loots from real raiding.

Any guild with a decent amount of 65s of any quality raiding a reasonable amount can get upgrades beyond traek

It's great to stick around lvl 57 for a traek raid for some of his drops, sure.
Ask yourself if it is worth getting spending so much time and so many AAs at level 57 that you have to worry about the AA cap INSTEAD of leveling to 65 in that time.

Ps. while ur sitting with 20 unused aa's anyway, might as well buy more of the basic resits while ur at it. sooner or later you will reach a point where u gotta do em all anyway. other options of course are to max out more items in the Archtype section.

maxing out resists is something you will do on this character. so do it now instead of later, and when you're 65, you'll get bigger upgrades when you do your AAs. a similar monk will watch his character improve slightly, while you'll be improving greatly. seriously, its just a few AAs.

Sensei's gift isn't really replaceable afaik, and a clicky that summons 100% wr bags seems pretty good to me on a class with a weight limit. His other loots aren't worth staying 57 for, neither are anything I've seen from the pounders (though they were going to recieve a bump last I heard, pretty much waiting to see that + keeping my druid at 57 for the hell of it myself). If I was a monk though...I'd wait.

There are other 10 slot 100% reduc 0.0 weight bags...

I'm not seeing any issue here ether..

Just use those AAs on the things you can while waiting...
OR

Play a different character...
Forget the bag and just level up...

Doesn't seem like a big deal to me, the fact that you can get a AA in 75 minutes or so of game play seems VERY VERY fast to me (still use to lives AA gain).

Depending on what Tier of progression you were on(PoP era of course), that was actually slow.

1 per 75 mins is actually pretty decent it seems for a 57 duo. Having never AA'd at 57 however, I don't know how long it would take in a group, solo ect.

75 minutes a AA slow?!?

Apparently I was xping in the wrong places then LOL. Then again I did a crap load of LDoN, never did to much of PoP. My old Guild did raiding here and there , had a few people with Elemental gear (they taged along with other guilds). Most of our raiding was Tier 1ish... BoT, PoD, PoI etc

Normaly it was a colition style raid (3 guilds that worked together all the time for raids).

Plane of Fire exp was amazingly fast. 75 mins would have been slow. 5-15% a kill with constant pulls.

Not to my knowledge other items that make 10 slot 100% weight reduction 0.0 bag from out of thin air.

The only reason to that was because you can't make a class restrictive bag :psyduck:

You could .... kinda..

Make a quest for a 100% weight reduce bag NO drop from a NPC that will only talk to Monks.

I think they can code that (could be wrong)

Yes, you could do that, but the point was to have it drop from a mob :p

The only way to do that is to make a class restricted item with a must wear clicky summon.

There really are a LOT of 100% WR low weight bags in the high end. Some droppable, some buyable, this isn't a MUST HAVE class breaking item. So if you want to move on, do it.

(Of course, I'm talking. . . if I were a 57 bard I'd wait for the Dragon Skin Drum =D).

Otherwise, Aaubert is right. Resist AAs are VERY useful for monks; seeing as how an unresisted spell will break FD in a heartbeat. Most monks I know carry around 2-3 bags worth of resist gear: if you've got the AAs, you might do better.

Would be easier to just move on and get in a guild that raids PoAir to get a better drum.
Hell, maybe a Dragon factioned guild to get an even better one

Actually, no.

Concubine's Tambourine is Freaking rare. I STILL don't have one. Glad I got my Dragon Skin Drum when I did. :toot:

(P.S. I'd rather have the + saves on the DSD anynow)

25 cha is way better in the situations you are using a drum, aka kiting.
not to mention it looks so much better :toot:

btw, how often do you raid PoAir? :hmph:

I'vr been to PoA a lot.

And I'd still take DSD, I don't get resisted all that often. Besides, it has the coolness factor of being an adept drop that not everybody else can get.
