Actually, this isn't right. When you stop smoking you do recover, but parts of the damage (particularily to the filtration hairs of your throat) is irreversable.
Regardless this is a damn game. You're being clawed in the gut by monsters and hit in the head with fireballs every ten minutes. This "LOL LUNG CANCER" is ridiculous.
