Re: adept
You have ensured that we will have enough to do this raid. Ok guys this is how its going down unless someone else has a better idea
Group 1
Draknor 25 War
Drawde 24 Clr
Mjcy's 21 Pally
Mjcy's 21 Ranger
Marmee 23 Clr
Group 2
Nabal 25 Sham
Garisons's 22 Wizard
19 Druid
19 Rng
It would be great if Drawde and whoever is on at the time with him joined up in Miel for some leveling as soon as possible. Stay close, because if we're on before midnight and want to strike at spectre for any reason we'll need you close.
Kiren I'd like to hear your input for healing strategies, as I'm not sure if we should have Drawde taking over most of the healing with Marmee standing by, or if we should have them alternate.
I'm mostly keeping Mcjy's chars on the same group so that he can monitor them better, as I would imagine having them in seperate groups makes things more complicated.
I will begin to pull to coast but if you see me getting summoned way too much, I'm going to need to have my group move forward enough to be in healing range. Melee folks, let me work up some aggro for about ten seconds or so before jumping in. Get familiar with the concept of attack styles if you aren't already. I will be wanting the other melee fighters to stay in defensive mode while I attack agressively. As the fight goes on, I'm going to first switch to sheild style, then switch to defensive. When I switch to defensive, I'm going to die soon, and I'll need the secondary tank ready to taunt and switch to normal mode. If I understand correctly Rampage is a short period where every attack will be countered and therefore it would be wise to turn off all attacks, as continuing them would simply result in being being blocked and countered. What this means is that we need to keep the main raid channel completely clear save for important messages such as tanks needing heals, orders to halt attacks, and emergency announcements. Save the spell casting chatter and hobutton macros for the chatter channel. When the mob hits about 70% I want the pure casters to do their thing, start nuking him and pray he doesn't resist. When you begin to nuke stay close to group 1 so that in case he aggroes you I can quickly jump in and taunt him mercilessly. DO NOT RUN. This is basic stuff but it needs to be mentioned.
As for Nabal, you said you would be charming a puma when the fight starts. I'll leave it up to you and Azmat to make sure it doesn't get out of control. Azmat, if you can participate in raid, you'll be in group 1, though I'm sure you've figured that out by now. I'm not sure when the best time to slow is, so I'm depending on your call for that as well. Druids, you will be my oh shit healers and if things are looking good you can try nuking, though I'm pretty sure the 19 druid is just gonna get resisted so stick to healing.
Please, if you possibly can, join drawde in miel for some leveling. One or two levels will make one hell of a difference. If you can't, then your presence is still greatly appreciated, no, NEEDED at the raid.
Here are some alternate structures in the unlikely case we get more people in this thread:

Here are some alternate structures in the unlikely case we get more people in this thread:
- -First additional War or Paly over 21 that joins will be sent to group 1 unless Azmat is able to fight
-Second War of Paly to join 21 or over will replace Mcjy's Ranger as the OST unless they are higher than his Pal, in which case they will become the ST. Mcjy, if you think this will make it too complicated to manage both your characters let me know so we can work out something else in advance, otherwise we will move you to group 2 to become an off tank.
-Bard will take last spot in group one if it is open, otherwise he/she will replace Mcjy's ranger like worked out above.
-Any additional pure caster will be sent to group 2
-An SK 21 or above will apply just like bard
-An additional cleric can be put into group one if we haven't already stuck a tank in there
-a monk will join group 2 and be the puller as long as his lvl isn't too low. [/list:u]
If any other class not mentioned is interested, post and we'll see what we can work out.
And also, anyone with some input tell me before 11:30 pm est. Which is going to be the cut off point for additional strategies or raid members. We do this to make sure everyone knows what they're doing. We might be grabbing other folks who post after that if we have some AWOL's, but that's it. I'm going to talk to midget mage to discuss the raind channel protocols.
Thanks again everyone, and keep checking this thread!
Edit: After reading the SoD wiki entry which I had posted, I realized it wasn't very useful and seems outdated. So if you have questions about styles, PM me
