The Seekers of Erimal quest

So, I think I'm starting to get used to Erimal. I spoke with the High Seeker Gavin. As most of you know who've completed this quest, I have to find 2 of the 5 names he provided me with, complete their missions, then come back to him to wrap it up.

Feeling around in the dark, I found Gazu and decided to do his quest first. I ran to East Badlands and fought a gnoll who gave me a disease, Rotting Plague. I go back to see Gazu, get my exp and potion. He tells me to take it to a healer and he/she will cure me of the disease. Seems easy enough. I held onto the potion and decided to go ahead and take on the 2nd quest.

I seeked out Herina and found her. She wants me to go to the outside entrance to the first city ruins, fight A Spectral Hunter and come back to her with the 4 pages she needs. Cool, another easy one I thought. Then I get to the entrance and there are two light blue Spectral Hunters, who just happen to be mages and have their pets up. Uh oh. I rolled the dice and attacked one, in the hopes that I'd get a single pull, kill, loot...wash, rinse, repeat. Hahaha, no. I pulled all 4 of them and they beat me to a pulp in a matter of moments. Sigh

So I'm bound in Qeynos, so I figured while I was awaiting the death effects to wear off I'd run and go see the Cleric healer. I ran over to the main person gave her my potion and she kicked right back to me. Whoops. Then I found the cleric auger (sp?). She happily accepted and thanked me for the potion...then never healed me of the plague! lol. Now I have no potion and a disease that looks like I'll have for the rest of my life. Any ideas what I should do or maybe what I did wrong? I'm kind of stuck there. I just logged at that point.

I also think I may need to do one of the other quests, because those Hunters opened a can of whoopass on me. Adds are my Kryptonite. I saw a high level wizard in the zone and I was going to ask if he could break the camp up for me, but I didn't want to be a PITA. So, that's when I rolled the dice and lost. Live and learn, right? :)

I did accidentally bump into a guy who asked me a lot of questions. Then I got 20k exp and he told me I was Chaotic Good. That sounds like me.

If you go through the dialogue with one of those healers, they will cure you of stuff like that for like 5sp or something like that. Honestly though if you're in a zone with a bunch of people, most can usually toss you a cure if you ask. I know many have said the same thing, but if you see me in game on any of my chars, half the time I'm not doing anything overly important, and can help knock out stuff like those erimal mobs.

I think the Cleric auger was offering me 3 diff buff spells, but I didn't see an option for healing...or removing this disease. But now she has my potion, so I can't give it to anyone else. Can Rotting Plague be cured by a normal PC? They were making it sound like only the healing NPC could do it. If you're right, that'd be awesome.

Also, I might just take you up on that...and really I wouldn't ask much. I read on wiki they're on a 20 min timer, so if one dies then a few minutes later I can kill the other and farm the pages I need. :)

it's the healer npc (in south newport near the clocktower) that will cast cure disease (also shaman augurs) but any player cast cure disease will work on rotting plague

Bah, you should have asked. I was just on my way to First Ruins which is right by there. When I sat down by you I wondered if you wanted me to smoke them for you but then thought "Not everyone wants your help...move along"

Send me a tell if you still need a hand, it's a quick port for me and I don't mind helping you break up the camp.

Thanks for the offer, man. I actually am in the Heartlands now doing quests. When I first met those undead mages, I just kind of tunnel visioned on the two in front of me then logged when I died because it was late. When I came back, I saw the whole string of them. It was nothing to levitate down and just start picking them off. :)
