ITT this spell would be really nice if it was PBAE.

Atm it slows 3 targets, and unless you run 50 range away, it will for sure pick you as one of its targets, so ususally its faster to just use Archaic slow.
 
I for one agree with the suggestion. The AE radius on that is so ridiculously large that it almost always targets the caster limiting it to 2 other targets. I have a hard time justifying use of it in most groups unless I have a lot of room to play with. PBAoE would be great, or even just decrease the AE radius to a more reasonable amount.

It's not really semi broken it's just semi inconvenient. Although I agree it's range is way too big.

If it could be made to not target the caster if there are enough mobs to hit like how the paladin refuge spell works that would be a great improvement.
 
I would love this spell if it were a PBAoE. As of right now, I never mem it on my SHM because it's really more annoying than useful. Imo this is a great idea. Either change it to PBAoE or make it's range like... 25-50ish? 200 range seems huge to me.

200 range is the maximum distance the caster can cast the spell at, the AE radius around the targeted mob *is* only 50 range. Just clearing that up.
 
Tbh, while I'm not opposed at all to it being pbaoe (would pair well with the pbaoe cripple), I actually use this spell a lot when I duo. I don't really think it's broken. That's not to say I wouldn't like it a lot more if it was changed and I didn't occasionally slow myself when I didn't gauge the distance well, but I will say that if the change came with a possible decrease in slow %, as was suggested earlier, then I would probably be against it personally.
 
Thumbs up for PBAoE. I agree this spell is not very desirable as is. Using it in dungeons will most certainly get you slowed instead of the intended 3rd target. I still us this spell when Xp'ing with Paladin multi pulls, but PBAoE would be an improvement.
 
It would be cool if targeting yourself with a target AE caused it to radiate out from you hitting 3 targets (and not yourself)
