significant changes?

So are they more 'balanced' *coff* nerfed *coff* here than on Live servers?
I remember seeing one ranger hitting for close to 1k pretty frequently ( he was around 65-70 at the time ) in the zone PoI, is that as they would here or alot better / worse?
Yea, we didnt got nerfed once, but twice. Mage, Monk, Bstl, Nec do more damage than rangers, if not very well played, that means, if you box a ranger with range dps, probably you will do less damage than a cleric.

At lvl 65 with a regular bow (Oh, yea, that arent that many bow's around SoD, so you will have difficulty to find yourself a bow at low levels, since fletching skill is incompleted and you spent alot of money to raise) a ranger can hit from 50 to 500-600 ( no crits ).

Now rangers will have a place in raids, since they can add some avoidance to spells for the pets in all raid.

sounds like rangers suck horribly now..
Played one to 58 on live and enjoyed it alot, especially looked forwards to endlessquiver which seems to have been nerfed on here aswell..
Too bad.

Seems like alot of things have been nerfed down for what seems to me no real good reason..
Alot of things have been done better, guess you have to take the good with the bad..

Some people just cry louder than others talk is all.

sorry that a good ranger does 300+ ranged non-magical dps and can in a pinch be a good off tank is not good enough for you Aline. Not to mention +atk buff and now pet saving buff. While they do lose some effectiveness when boxed, rangers fit the role they are put in, which is great ranged non-magical dps.

been playing on the server now a week or two and i gotta say im really enjoying it.
i made as previouslyt stated a de sk and a woddy druid, i dident remake even though some peopl esuggested it.. de's look cooler and have a plate armor model ;)
im sure that it wont matter in the end anyways.

I started an adventure band with my brother and i gotta say the idea is really great.
Am however curious as to the mathematics of it. Does it split the xp as if we were always grouped together? If im in a group and a member of an adv band, im only one from band in group and the band contains 3 members will my share of the party exp then be split 3 ways?

thats the way i would imagine it would work but since i get both xp at the death of a mob and in aggregated sums i am curious.

very good then, guess you gotta be carefull about who you invite so you dont get any soakers relative to your playing ammount.
Well, the purpose is not to invite strangers lol. Mostly to have friends who would rather stay at the same xp level than worry about who is contributing more
