at least you're learning more about the end game.

I feel that every T13 fight I have ever killed is some of the best content in the game. I really fear that resists will try to be added into these fights and it is just something that doesn't need to happen. Spells being unresistant is something I see as a good thing. I think having to farm resist gear for a specific fight is a very old mechanic that I would be happy to see die and go away forever.

why not make it a pet like the wiz pet

aka cast spot on the mob the rng is bowing at and dont have it run in melee or so and make it invulnerable vs ae dmg or so ....

Wizard familiar is not immune to aoe damage~
 
I would like to say that, I enjoy being able to get around damage in ways that aren't aug your gear this resist for this tier. Or unresistable damage period that cannot be avoided and basically works as a perfect gear check.
 
After talking to Marza i am told a lot of fights had the script resist mechanic but had it removed to decrease lag. Luckily we do not have to worry about that anymore.

Kedrin you are assuming a binary stack resists/unresistable situation. It is easier to argue against old eq style resist stacking, but that is not on the table anyway. It is very possible to balance things against stacking one resist as high as you can. It is even easier when the fights have so much else going on adding to difficulty like the ones at the toer in question.

That is not to say that resists have to play into every fight, but a lot of things are balanced around resists, and it does not surpise me that therr are unintended consequences when the entire raid game suddenly shifts to ignoring them completely.

I really liked the fact that there is unresistable mostly unmitigatable incoming damage. I however do not like pets dieing as much. I think giving them more hps 25-50%

I will show some basic math:
Base pet health completely unbuffed no companion strength. I am using the air et for a baseline.
lvl 63 air - 4735
relic pet - 6699 (41.5% increase for 4 tiers)
runic 2 air - 9240 (40% increase for 7 or 8 tiers)

Now if you take the hp increase for a melee character
lvl 65 tier 2ish- Brekouh (Ranger) - 4728 hps 1233ac
lvl 65 tier 4ish - Hamark (Ranger) - 5848ps 1356 ac (24% hp and 10% ac)
lvl 65 tier 11ish - Figglewiggle (Ranger) - 8034 hps 1754ac (46% hps and 29% ac)

What I am trying to show is how much more survivability players recieve as opposed to pets. The runic 2 gets no additional mitigation that I can tell from the lvl 63 pet and get rocked from ae's and incoming melee damage. In order to combat this some I think the pets hps should be adjusted to make up for some of the difference in mitigation.

Also, I think the code for pet to recieve heals that the owner's recieve needs looked into becuase I have on numerous occasions had a pet not get a heal and die even when I recieved one.

We recently checked this over. Has this been happening recently and can anyone corroborate? We definitely want heals to pet owners to broadcast to pets.
 
people seem to assume it's delayed because the group window is delayed for pets, but if you actually target a pet while a group heal lands, it does heal it instantly.

i think people just let pets die because the window doesn't update fast enough and you think it will land in time, but doesn't.

that's just my experience from limited testing though, and i came to the conclusion that it's not the actual heals that are bugged, it's the group window updating
