My main char on the server now is a Monk.
Just a quick question. How can I draw aggro from a Rogue. Whenever I group with one I always end up loosing it within the first few strikes. I understand that Rogue do a lot of dmg and are quite speedy, but Monks are fast too (aren’t they?) Shouldn't I hold aggro if I pull and the Rogue in my group is 2 or 3 levels lower then me? It's insane how fast these guys steal aggro. They can hide and have the monster switch to me but as soon as they stab again, the monster is back on them. What makes this really hard is that they go down so easy. Even with Cleric buffs a Rogue is just not a tank, not as good as a Monk anyway and I would like to save his life a few times. Its annoying to wait while the Cleric rezes the Rogue.
This brings me to a suggestion. Are Rogue not supposed to be good at avoidance? Maybe take a slight amount of that DPS and channel it into having the Rogue dodge more? Or maybe give Monks some sort of Taunt stance at the expense of their damage?
