REQ: Priest of War/Harmony in Athica

As the title says, I'd like a priest of war/harmony in athica.
I can think of no reason why they shouldnt be there and them being there would allow me to pk lots of afk flagged players that i normally wouldnt be able to pk due to not being flagged.

This would be cool, since Athica is basically the most used city. Also, aren't the only other ones in South Newport and Oggok?

Tbh i'd rather see priests of war etc removed from all major cities.
Make people trek somewhere, like the arena to flag or unflag.

Otherwise you end up people swapping flags to kill someone then swapping back immediately to avoid retribution!

I would rather see them available in every major city, but have a minimum time between flaggings, say one hour.

Imo, priest of war should be quite easy to find, every major city could use one. There's a few times I wanted to dink around as pvp and just didnt feel like going to newport or grobb. On the other hand Priests of harmony should be in the middle of nowhere, or at least a somewhat bother to get to with a cooldown timer to reset one's status.

You so should need to travel to the top of the tallest mountain, and spend time with some kind of inner peace monk.
Make it the equiv of picking crops for a faction quest. Burn a few hours to prevent pvp flag hopping.

Having Priests of Harmony in secluded spots is kind of dumb, but I do agree that you shouldn't just be able to flag just to kill someone, then unflag so they can't kill you.

Notice I gave an alternative

It would be quite unbalanced. Secluded for a lvl 30 is quite different from that of a lvl 65

hour cooldown, priest in athica. thanks, i'll be here all day.

What possible reason can you have for swapping PVP every hour?

The priests talk about a way of life, etc. It shouldn't be a flag that is essentially turned on/off willy-nilly.

If you insist on making it easy, great. But make it something like a week between flag changes or something.

A week is a bit harsh, there is no reason someone shouldn't be able to unflag the very day they flagged. PVP on the side, away from grouping and raiding should be encouraged, not forced onto someone who wanted to PVP for an hour or so.

Oh yeah that would be a great idea, seeing as how maybe all of 4 people on the server would pvp flag then.. ever. Chances are they wouldnt even play at the same time either, nor be in the same level range.

Currently, you can swap pvp every minute if you like. Upping the time to an hour is a significant increase.

Problem with forcing people to pvp for weeks is it causes major headaches in raids. So basically nobody at the high end would pvp.

forcing people to pvp for any ammount of time only causes headaches since there is no positive side to pvping

So just keep yourself flagged all the time and then you don't have to worry about it?

Honestly if you're concerned about pking afk people maybe it's time you drop that forsaken pride and join up with a more active raiding guild to keep you busy. You know, raid with people who actually still play the game, not show up once or twice a week for raid day. Sure it'll be going backwards, but whatever. There's few active forsaken members now. Perhaps the remaining members(which I define by logging in more than once or twice a week) should start up a new guild instead of trying to form weekly pick up raids, not to mention helping to gear up people that are never around except once or twice a week. Now there's an idea. But then I guess you've been there done that in the raid scene and you rather pk afk people than go backwards so I'm making a moot point aren't I? gasp. Imho, company -> pride. And I assure you, I know all about pride and biting the bullet for the sake of company in another guild in past online games I've played. It sucks, but being lonely sucks even more.
