Relic: Fiery Warcry of Tarhyl

Level 64 Warchant of the tribes is an overhaste already in the 15-20 range. Nor does it make sense that a bard Relic can compensate for the loss of a 63 beastlord spell.

I would fully approve of adding back in the original 30% overhaste, reducing the spell damage a little, reducing cunning spell damage a little, and having them stack.

but... beastlords are in such a wierd position. I totally agree with you Allie, that a relic song shouldn't be a poor substitute for a level 60 BL buff...

But beastlords kinda just are in a wierd position. because one of their biggest strengths are their spells, their non-relic spells are a bit more powerful than other classes who get relic's spells.

If you don't have a beastlord around this song compensates very well. And it's not limited to a single group like Cunning is.
Stacking would be totally overpowered too, and I think it's the same+dmg slot in parser.

I guess some haste component should indeed be reintroduced , but 30% it was ? lil too much from my point of view. Make it 15-20 maybe ?

Cunning might be limited to one group, so raids will just put all their spell dps into one group with the bst class, so even if a bard did play relic spell focus, it would still be completely useless. the lv 64 overhaste song parses at 20%, so 30% would be a natural step up.

No I agree that beastlords are in a weird position. They're still useful without cunning (SV, SB, DPS) but it really gives them an extra advantage. But there is a reason that not all casting classes get relics, and I don't really agree that a non-relic should spank a relic any day :/ I'm sure there's a happy middle ground somewhere, I just haven't necessarily seen it yet.

Are you guys who are talking about cunning completely ignoring the -20% agro? Considering most of our wizards spend tons of mana on concussion, -20% agro is a huge bonus, its not something that can just be ignored. If you have tarhyl instead of beastlord when he's not around, currently you lose 8% spell damage straight up, and a ton more because of the extra concussions that need to be done.
