Relic farming

I want a Relic QUEST, make it hard make it take time, but make it 1 groupable. why cant we without raid opportunities get a chance, VD MAPS oh well, seen 1 relic in maybe 50 maps ? and then there are 3 casters in group, dosent make the odds very good.

Relic spells are designed as raid spells, for those who raid. It is intentionally very difficult (no relation to the tmap) to obtain them without raiding.

I never realized Frost didn't drop relics is that really true ? I don't remember them dropping there but it would be completely weird if they wouldn't compared to any other plane besides Thaz

There are relic droppers up each and every night/day. You can even buy relic chances (Hello VD maps). There is no reason to add more chances for relics IMO.

Theres one thats reaaaallly fucking eaaassyyyy and has a gigantic chance.

Here. I will give you a hint

Blub blub blub.

what mob is it =) ?

You got all the information you need. Add in Aislings tip, and you know of 2 very well doable relic dropping mobs - IF YOU PUT IN SOME EFFORT AND DO SOME RESEARCH. If you don't put ino this effort, sorry, I don't think you should be entiteled to relics.

Therein lies the rub. Saw the same argument in live for oh so long and so often.

Casuals wanting equal chance for time put in the game to get uber spells/equipment.

Raiders (non-casauls) telling them they don't deserve it or need it because they don't raid.

I'm stuck in the middle myself, I see the argument, and can't really agree with either side.

I'm not a raider. My schedule just wont allow me to spend that much time in one sitting. I put in a lot of time in the game, but just in smaller spurts. Would I like to have relic spells? Sure I would. Do I think I need them? Not really. Not for a guy like me who barely has time to do a tmap a couple times a week. But still, a chance, be it ever so small, to obtain them would be cool.

The thing is... those of us who cannot raid, are sometimes made to feel as if we are second class players. Not worthy of the attention raiders get. This is not nearly as evident as it was in Live game. In SoD, the gap between casuals and raiders is much much much smaller. But, it's still there. And it probably should be.

Now, don't go get your panties in a bind, I'm not feeling sorry for myself or us casuals. I know our place. And I am content with it. Just wish some people were not so anxious to remind us of it so often.

I was a casual raider. I got pretty far.
Well that often means one knows who to be around of.

Anyway does Frost really not drop relic ? I've been thinking all day about that it's weird in the brain

Doesnt the burning spirit drop relics, that blue water (or is it air) elemental? Im pretty sure it does... But I might be wrong.. (But Im never wrong so that is probably not a option.)

True. And some people just are better at being in the right place at the right time. And, can win rolls. I've rolled twice I think for ancients, and once for relic. Was last and next to last on all rolls =)
