Flushed with the success of my nodrop items to pets thread just wanted to make a couple of suggestions about Ikisith drops.
Presumably to encourage more players to Ikisith, mobs dropped tomes and items like confetti.
As a result there has been a deluge of mid and high range items and tomes hit the market to the point where prices have dropped as there just aren't enough buyers. The situation is made far worse because the vendor prices of many items are so low it just isn't worth selling except on listsold.
My suggestions are:
Increase the vendor prices to match those of old world drops so that those who are looking for a quick split vendor rather than listsold.
A slight increase in vendor price for the less useful tomes and a big increase for the more useful ones. This needs to be carefully thought out as you don't want everyone vendoring Frost Mastery 1 etc.
Decrease the frequency of the better items which are dropping far too readily. At the same time you might like to consider whether you want to enhance one or two items so that they match items such as the Emblazoning Steel Greaves and the Stalwart Sash and make these really rare drops.
I am sure that you have been considering this already but just to illustrate, we spent an evening in Kaesora and came out with 3 tomes and 3 drops which theoretically had a total price of 50k but in actuality this was less than 20k as most of the items just couldn't be sold at the hoped for price.
Surely it would better if we had come out say with 1 tome and 5 items. The tome might vendor for 4k and the 5 items vendor for a total of 12k. We would then have the choice of a quick split of 16k or hanging on to get say 25k. As a result a lot would vendor but those who had patience would be able to do better.
I suspect you may already be considering this, hope you find these thoughts constructive.
