Yesterday's "Database maintenance" was actually part of this sinister plot of Cyzaine's. The server is going to be wiped, but on Easter Sunday it will not rise. It'll just stay dead. RIP SOD.
 
Despite that fact that I'll never get what I want, I consider this thread a success due to its degeneration into lulz.
 
One advantage Rogues have over Rangers is that backstab is an ability, and thus can be attached to a hotkey. Would it be possible to make range attack into a combat ability, or adding a /cmd to trigger ranged attack?

This would at least be a good improvement over the never ending veto on autofire.

What people don't understand about autofire is that it pretty similar to using macroquest to make your character play for you. While it is true that auto attack is basically the same thing, bowing is typically much more efficient.
 
what people dont seem to understand, is that I'm not suggesting an auto fire button, just something that would shoot like 2 shots per press...it'd still have to be pressed very often.

Backstab can be macroed, making boxing a rogue really easy for most things, I don't see why its such a big deal.
 
Because you're asking for the devs to put their time into something completely unnecessary. Just stop being lazy.
 
Sorry I want my bow to benefit from every % of haste I have...thats totally unnecessary though.

In the later tiers (when you'll be running with maxed out haste more often) bow delays are higher.

Things progress as you advance up the tiers. In this case it's your ability to utilize haste with archery.
 
I love the logic people come up with to defend the status quo, no matter how nonsensical or broken. :p

I would like you to imagine for a moment that there is a crew of people who analyze and develop things specifically for this game. Lets call them... oh hmm developers. Now please suspend disbelief for a little longer as I ask you to entertain that they may take all the variables into account when decide whether archery should be changed. This thread made the points it was trying to make and still things remain the same. As a player I would like to say that rangers do an enormous amount of damage at range, in my mind too close to rogues in fact, and I have no issues with them having to work very hard for this damage and I am sorry that the concept of your ability to apply haste to low tier bows as a balancing aspect seems to be beyond your reasoning.

First, if you get rangers nerfed again, I will nut you.

Secondly, if you PAY ATTENTION you will get every possible benefit from your bow that is available with lower tiered bows. I have.... for 2 years now. It is what it is. Either suck it up or roll a rogue. I'm sick of whiney ass bitches giving my class a bad name.
