Pets don't use armor properly and other wierdness...

i just tested that, both weapons will proc
tested with Sword of Runes and Axe with furor proc from kala
 
Yeah tried already the searfire on leather amor a few times, never got a damn crit.
I assumed pretty early it was pointless. But baubles :(

i would also guess that bracers wouldn't, as there was a post somewhere said the spell needed to use mana.
does any pet kick?

wonder if they would get the +damage found on gloves
 
I think it's interesting to note, if anyone is keeping track of charm pets anyway (hi TM) that if you want a charm pet to use weapons it needs to have one of it's two hands free and while disarm (skill) will remove a weapon, you cannot then use that now empty slot to equip the charm pet. Here's a few examples:

Charm mob with no weapons visually equipped, can give: 2x 1 handers, 1x 2hander and 1x 1 hander (in that order)
Charm mob with 1 handed sword in primary, shield in secondary: can give: nothing, after disarming: sword is gone, but can still give nothing
Charm mob with 2 handed axe in primary, nothing in secondary: can give 1x 1 hander, after disarming: can still only give 1x 1 hander (for it's offhand)

think the reason for this might be, that after a weapon or shield is disarmed, its moved into the inventory just like an item you would give to the pet would be moved to the inventory after the trade window closes.

Pretty sure that a disarmed mob gets flagged to not re equip the disarmed slot, or he would just re eqip the disarmed weapon right after the disarm

Mage pet haste rings work. Pets now have a special 10th slot that's only for hastely items.

I think where he did not say mage pets now have a special 10th slot is the key. He said Pets. From that I would conclude it is all pets that have received the same fix.
