Since Ive been back I have noticed there has been regular patching at least once a week, maybe even more.
This is awesome. Im excited that this game is taken seriously and constantly improved.

The one thing I can hardly find are patch notes regarding all of these patches.
It may sound dumb, but as an active player apart of this community I feel like it would be nice to see it no matter how large or small or vague. Not to mention it shows newer players things are active and happening.

-stuff for a zone that doesn't exist yet and won't any time soon
-stuff that won't affect any players in any appreciable way
 
As Zaela alluded to, many patch notes would consist of things that nobody cares about because they're either part of content which is not ready for release or for various backend things that players won't ever be directly exposed to. While the idea sounds good in theory, it doesn't make sense to write patch notes week after week which essentially all say the same thing and that nobody will read.

Generally whenever something significant is added/changed though, you'll see patch notes for it and/or it will make an appearance in the MOTD.
 
Today I learned I'm a weird developer because I write patch notes.
 
I actually appreciate reading your notes kimmy. I feel documentation is a grear habit. Even though the notes aren't particularly enthralling, I like to know what changes are made. Whether or not they are important to the dev, well that's their thing I guess. Don't fall into that way of operating kimmy! Resist the temptation! Noooo

It's probably easier when there's actually one person who knows about everything that went in well enough to describe them all accurately.

A new dev is working on a zone and it's not close to being finished as far as I know.

Oh I'm not going to stop, don't worry. I love doing it and wish I could make the team be as organized and transparent as I try to be.
 
You forgot to include the fixes in the spelling errors in the commented out part of the "a golden beast" NPC script.

Everyone must know this!
 
I mean being enlightened as a player when things change is nice, no matter how small. I know it might be some extra work for you guys I get that, but it wouldnt go underappreicated from the players.
