Ouch my Neck

I would support the idea of randm things happening in the zone. Randomly get a spell cast on you... an NPC attacks you at random for no reason... for some reason you are shadowstepped to the top of the town hall...

+1 on the two last posts, it could get some random events like that. After all there was an important historical event that took place in the city that may have more consequences than just making the ghosts of its previous inhabitants "haunt" the place at night.

With all due respect... RV never was scary for me. I joined SoD, at level 30 had someone say, *Hey, RV neck is the most rediculously easy neck to get, lets take 3 people and get your neck.* The upgraded RV neck ring is more work for less reward than similar targets, and RV isn't creepy, just inconvenient because its worthless as a city half the time.

So, what would make it creepy? I dunno, but the creepiness wasn't bolstered by the 30 minute neck nerf. Maybe if it was never a city? Or always creepy (no halflings, just swirlies, darken the sky, make it so that you can't sit in one spot for too long or you get a DoT cast on you?(5 minutes?)...)

With all due respect, I don't particularily care if any specific person finds it creepy. I just want the raid guilds out of there.

You could make it so that anybody "idling" there (That is, no movement, whatsoever), gets summoned to the river wisps.

It's the safest place in the zone! >:D

P.S. the creepiest thing about RV, to me, was the books I purchased there. I was so excited to see baking books, until. . . .

Indeed. Has the same effect as that moment in "The Shining". Months and months of buildup to such a very very creepy climax.

Don't think I ever really headed to raid from there, however heading to groups from there was really really common. Oh and the books were great lol.
