Nurf Buff duration

Why not just make every buff last 3 hours minimum.

Too much effort involved for revamping a system that has been ok for a long while.
 
i like bloog's idea of min. 3 hours for every buff, but i suggest making it min. 12 hours, why?

a lot less hassle, but at the same time, you still need a buff but only once a day, versus having to go back to town 2/3 times a day, so the classes remain unchanged, you still need them, but not over and over again, which is what is prolly causing people to be annoyed.

If a buff NPC happened just give 3 options. Tank buffs, Melee DPS buffs, Caster buffs. If you don't like the buffs from those sets, go and get them from actual people. This would be a convenience option only anyway. I'm sure if you really have to have your perfect buff setup then your already capable of getting them all on your own anyway.

Yeah it's really that simple Zae. Also make the bots guild-only and have your guild buy them. Or maybe as a reward for killing certain bosses. Like you get some buffs for killing the T5 bosses, some more beating all of Valor A trials, and then you get em all after killing Enthann or something. I figure by the time you are at T8-9 your guild should have the full array of all high level buffs.

What if we took each Player Armor slot and added an Aug slot for a buff.

Aug 20 Chest : HP/AC Buff (AEGO)
Aug 21 Legs : Focus cabage slot
Aug 22 Arms : Haste
Aug 23 Helmet : Flowing Thought/Stance stam usage
Aug 24 Gloves: Spell/Wepon Procs
Aug 25 Boots: Stats
We can break down the buff classes into different slots.

Clickies for some buffs will Summon that Aug so you will ALWAYS be able to put AT LEAST that aug level into gear without having to get a new drop.
Other Clickies like Melwin's Idol and ToLL Will still have their place on the buff bar.

Ok now where do these Augs come from?
ALL ZONES
Each Mob Based off the mobs level would have a chance to drop a Aug on tier with that mobs level.
Raid zone mobs T3/4 + all have a chance to drop Relic Level augs.
I don't mean from raid bosses, but ALL raid mobs for example ALL 1st floor Poair mobs drop level 65 non relic buff augs 2nd floor drop Relic buff augs.
Mobs in Fearstone can drop low level buff augs like Center ect.

Now that I think about it more this would inherently nerf all Inactive players unless they take the time to be brought up to speed on AUGS

This would also fix the issue of class balancing due to Utility buffs Like druids,Enchanters ect....

I don't like that idea at all, especially because sometimes I use different buffs. Sometimes I like won and others focus. It would also flood players in lower tiered areas like dungeon delvers or sagacity. Furthermore what will you do for those classes that are now losing part of their perks?
 
the idea that players automatically deserve buffs is lol and I really can't take this thread seriously I mean where do these ideas even come from

either keep buffs as they are or get rid of them, don't make them permanent or semi-permanent
 
Solution: get rid of all buffs, buff effectiveness of player mitigation by like 15 or 20% or w/e would make up for lost buffs. Also buff player damage output in the same way. Maybe make haste scale by level/AAs?

Captain Heavy-hands saves the day again.
