Newport Faction

Mid high levels -- Paw is green in the 50's, and everchill orcs are too hard. I assume. I don't actually know this. I like assuming!
Yeah, Everchill takes not just a 65 group, but a pretty strong one. If you don't have CC and a strong tank, you'll get chewed up in there pretty quick.

I grouped in Everchill tonight for a bit, its pretty cool xp and ears have a fair droprate. But its indeed not easy, without slows and a splitter.. no ears!

Will be nice to have an alternative to Orcs.

Now there is.

would anyone care to enlighten me (and others) as to what other way there is to increase newport faction?

as far as i understand it so far:

until warmly? -> bb gnoll ears
until ally? or something lower? -> paw thingies
- insert the new option -
orcs in everchill (for which you need agood 65 grp)

rrright?

Bumping a 3 year old thread but I'm guessing that's better than starting another thread? I don't know.

Anyway, I am wondering if there is any advice for improving my faction? I hate faction grinds... so any advice to make this less of a PITA would be much appreciated. I'm level 40 or so, so if I do blackburrow, there will be no mobs left in the entire zone. And if I do Paw, it would be a bit of a struggle, most will be green/light blue, and the heads are so rare I would probably lose my mind.

So what are my alternatives? The only other thing I've done is the plaguewind gnolls but you are only allowed to hand in 20 of those furs and I've done that now. I don't want ally by the way, I am a dark elf and I just want to be friendly enough to be able to trade there. Currently they all say "I won't deal with the likes of you!" or whatever.

So any advice would be much appreciated. Besides the footpads in the badlands which someone explained on page one, I am out of ideas.

Thanks.

Thanks! I will have to get to apprehensive first somehow. I will probably try the footpads or something.
