[Newport Faction] [How to change if KOS]

Hello, i have a shaman, that accidently killed one of the scouts from newport ring quest,
and now i cant turn in any items for tokens, and the lady at centaur hills are asking for 970platinum
to erase my faction debt.

Now i ask isnt there a way to erase that without paying almost 1k pp?
 
If you're a race they don't like and you're on the borderline, you might try getting an illusion to maybe bump you up just enough to do the turnins. Otherwise I doubt there's another way, since reconciliators (?) were put in for exactly that purpose.
 
The crops quest in WBL, what faction is the turn in guy on? Perhaps a human illusion may make you able to do this simple, repetitive, effective quest to help.

Brackets are commonly used to quickly show in which line of direction the thread is going to be about. Normally they are only used around the first 1/2 words. but not the entire question :p

Examples:
[Faction] Can i fix newport factions?
or:
[Tradeskills] Is there a way to get more skillups without farming?

On a forum like this1 there is practically no use for it. But on a tech forum for say... programming support, it is often used to show which langs they are dealing with like:

Vague -> How do i print a line of text? (this could be anything!)
Clear ->
PHP: 
 How do i print a line fof text? (now we know what language it is)
 
Crops give faction only if you are very low. I do not know about being KoS and it has been along time since I looked into it but you may want to explore this.
 
I just did the crops quest 2 weeks ago with a level 65 to try and raise enough faction so that I could finish the Albino gnoll quest. It didn't help. I also killed only 1 newport guard during a Ring 4 run. I have been paying for it ever since.
You can raise guard faction by doing the quests given out by Recovery Officer Janson (Here). The nametags are about as rare as the liodreth heads. The silver Newport Faction token you get is a very small faction increase.

anyway i need to give the tokens back to the office of the people.. and cant handle em invis.. so if i handle i will get ataked :(

just go see that guy at the waystone in Centaur. he will want some cash, then he sends you off to the farm
there you collect crops (you dont see faction hits) untill the farmer says it is enough. then you go back to centaur and your faction is at dubiously again so you can turn items in

is that the only waY? because that guy asking me 1kpp
 
The ENTIRE reason the guy was put in was for this purpose. THe 1k is there as a deterrent.

No other place has this... if you screw up anywhere else, you are out forever. Because I would pay 1k to not be KOS in Grobb, but it's not an option. Stop whining, and either pony up the cash or decide you can live without Silver Crown Oppression and the Slave Ring.

I'm pretty sure you can build up faction for grobb by releasing prisoners from MielechA.

i believe there is a reconsiliator for oggok located in starfallm but yeah, 1kpp sucks, but if you want to be non-kos in newport, thats what you gotta do
 
im kos to newport guards and citiziens too
why must i pay for a facction boost? i lost the dubius faction because i needed to kill a npc in newport for the grob amulet quest. its stupid paying for faccion, im lvl 37 i can't pay 1k, much less for faction.

isnt there another way to boost my faccion with newport? :psyduck:

You killed one of their citizens when they weren't terribly thrilled with you to begin with, and you want them to just forgive and forget? With a little planning, you could have gotten your faction up with them before killing the citizen, such that it didn't drop you into KOS. Now, you can either pay the 1k to make amends, or just remain KOS. Be thankful you have this option; before it was put in, you had no way at all to recover your faction.
