[Newport Faction] [How to change if KOS]

im kos to newport guards and citiziens too
why must i pay for a facction boost? i lost the dubius faction because i needed to kill a npc in newport for the grob amulet quest.

Yeah, having both port necks is not supposed to be easy, since they're both in opposition to each other. The Grobb neck is much easier to get, but the downside is that you do lose NP faction for it. It's just the natural balance of the port neck system.

Sucks, but it's intended.

Stop whining and kill all humans.

However, for the record... neither the newport guards nor the silver crown have much cash as they spend all of their off duty time in the newport brothels. Their on duty time is mostly spent waylaying travelers in the Goblin Skull Mountains or Badlands, murder and robbery of boat passengers, and ignoring the massive camps of goblins, their own infested sewers, and the den of theives literally 20 feet from their primary guard station.

KILL ALL HUMANS.

You killed one of their citizens when they weren't terribly thrilled with you to begin with, and you want them to just forgive and forget? With a little planning, you could have gotten your faction up with them before killing the citizen, such that it didn't drop you into KOS. Now, you can either pay the 1k to make amends, or just remain KOS. Be thankful you have this option; before it was put in, you had no way at all to recover your faction.

i've noticed that im only kos to guards.
however, i didnt know i had to pay for faccion, so i didnt care about that proble, i thought i could do some quest to raise faccion, like bandit heads and so, but i had never known i had to pay pps.

No offense, but what's the difference? Instead of spending time to farm, say, bandit heads, you have to spend time to farm plats. What makes one less of a pain than the other?
