why the introduction of a requirement for manual dexterity into the MoP of all zones has caused me to cease playing.

From my experience, having not touched the illusion or run speed, the entire mop consists of waiting for mobs to path away and or hiding in cubbies. Neither of these things require dexterity, and the aggro range on the mobs is ridiculously small. Playing a mmo and complaining that mobs exist intrigues me.

Bridger, seriously. Find hugh or pharrell in game and I will personally run you through the MoP and show you how there is nothing scary about it. It even gives you crutches if you know about them. You can see the mobs, correct? Do you get a target ring? The thing is, the MoP is such a tiny part of the game that it is absurd that someone would quit over it. It'd be like quitting football because they missed a yard of sideline paint on one side of the field.

This is also NOT an issue of intelligence or concentration. After I retired from work I obtained a first class Maths degree. I play Bridge at close to international standard. Both attest to the fact I have more than sufficient abilities in both these areas.

I only went to community college, so maybe I am not smart enough to know how to die in the MoP. All my dumb ass can do is run around in there from place to place successfully. Maybe soon I can get an advanced degree and then I too will know the pain and anguish of the MoP!

I love the new Mop, but maybe an Akhevan illusion clicky for donators would assuage some of the hate? Also, crying about logging into the wiki is just the laziest garbage I've ever even heard of.

Donors do not need an ahkeva clicky. Though I wouldn't mind a long quest line since i love illusions.

Also, i think the wiki thing is more abou players who never needed an account before having no clue where to make one as it wasn't patently obvious. Personally, as I add quest story lines and items, I think the new lag free wiki is wonderful.

Well I thought I would have another try with a level 1 character.

I made 20 attempts to get thru the Mop and achieved 5 success when I got the illusion and 15 deaths to Mobs I never saw.

No I am not.

It is just a total lottery whether I can find an illusion before some mob I cannot see kills me.

Yeah?

Low level players already get a huge advantage. Basically the number of times you can aggro a Akhevan decreases as you level up. A level 1 would basically have to aggro every single one on the way to Athica in order for them to die. I did this so that MOP would keep its scare factor for low levels while decreasing its death factor. Hopefully a newbie will feel real accomplishment and relief after going through it the first time utilizing the level advantage while getting better at it for later.

I call bullshit, or you just aren't even trying. Either way, sick of your repetitive posts.

Pretty much, seeing as how I have ran level 65 toons through agro-ing some of the mobs on purpose and at 65, you have to agro more then 3 mobs, I would imagine at level 1 the number of mobs you need to agro before you die is pretty tremendous.

Something I have just noticed. If I have the illusion (free passage) I can see the energy globes. If I am in standard form I cannot.

Is that supposed to happen?

The other Mobs are just incredibly difficult to see. My vision range seems to be approximately their aggro range.

Nope

One hit wipes out 50% of my hit points.
Three hits always kills me.

The mobs do not hit you until you actually run in to 3 of them, you just get this big wall of red text saying you should be more careful.

Seriously there agro range is so small I have literally run past one while he was standing in the doorway. I would hate to see you run through Bloodfire wing in ToT.

Also, are you running all over the place looking for Akhevan Illusion? All that time running around you could probably just run through to your destination.
