Lol Zae, I know. I just thought I'd ask him what his gripe was. I've been here for quite awhile, though I admit to more lurking then posting.
Just highlighting this part. What about the druid heal change do you not like?
For me the mobs in the mop blink in and out of existence constantly. they are there, then ten seconds later they poof, and reappear a few seconds later a few feet further in their path. It makes navigating the mop rather hard (not that I use it much, but yeah.)
Looking at them, they just seem to exhibit the usual minor pathing-ghosting that can happen with anything that is pathing when approached from a distance.

NEW MOP THREAD A SUCCESS
At least the MoP isn't dumb luck anymore. Before I didn't use the MoP when I had buffs, now I can. If I get debuffed, killed, etc. it's because of something I did, not some random draw. So I have to learn to be careful, I can live with that.
I've been through the new MoP 6-8 times per day since the baddies were implemented without dying a single time. I've only been flung once, and I've made two absolutely clean runs without even being noticed. It can be done. I'm not busting the chops of anyone who says it's not their strong point...we're all good at different things. But I find this to be a good change for so many reasons. It's made druids more useful, and even wizards (who were at least wanted for their DPS) have a way to make a little plat in their downtime. As far as I'm concerned PoK was a horrific addition to live, and there (like here) I mained a paladin and poked around on some other non-porting classes. I don't even HAVE a porting class, so this isn't all about some personal gripe either.
If you don't like to run, play a porter, or donate to one...and don't say it's not fair to have to pay for ports, because I bet when you run across that high level druid or wizzie spell, you're not giving it away for free. Also, where did the idea arise that this is harder on low end characters? There's absolutely no difference between running through a level 1 or a level 65. Don't run into Mr. Huggles and you'll do fine.
Sure, there have been a small handful of people who say (and probably are) going to quit over this. But for the most part, it seems to me the new MoP has revitalized plain old having fun. For months all you saw in ooc was the usual LFG or group LFM requests, some guild drama, and the same old jokes about furries and juggalos. With the new system, people are talking to each other, helping out, and even discussing doing things just for the fun of it, like drunken MoP races. So this doesn't add to high end content? Big whoop....I play for entertainment, and I have enjoyed the hell out of this.
If fun doesn't matter to you, then ponder this. At least the MoP isn't dumb luck anymore. Before I didn't use the MoP when I had buffs, now I can. If I get debuffed, killed, etc. it's because of something I did, not some random draw. So I have to learn to be careful, I can live with that.
I just want to add that the new MoP is awesomeeeeeeeee! Hated getting KEI or something stripped in there. And to all of you dying in the MoP, maybe you should take your hand off your crotch and focus on the game or something. Seriously how do you navigate this game? Virtually every other zone in the game has the same element of danger as the MoP.
