dont nerf... FIX

How do you propose we fix things like this? Nerf the weapon? Or nerf the quest for higher levels to get it? A level req. really makes things alot easier, and you can just get the extra few levels, really. It's the goal of most people to progress by leveling, so it shouldn't be that big of a problem to get a few more levels.

Nerfs are just part of the Onling RPG experience.

I dont like required levels myself and I think it should be recommended levels. But i dont make the decisions around here.

gee is a waste of time

gaee is an idiot hes complaining about leveling he just wants to be lvl 20 with a Uber weapon. he used to link that weapon in guildchat 20 times a day and in /ooc. i now keep all his charactoers on ignore that i know of. if he could hed probably delvl just to show it off more. as someone suggested before please drown.

I would agree that nerfs are lame but only in cases where they are not the best solution to a problem. From what I've come to know of SoD, a weapon like that is just too powerful for someone your level. That really leaves only two options - required level restriction or making it a lesser caliber weapon. Seems to me they made the right choice considering the quest difficulty.

So that would indicate - just in case he hasn't figured it out yet himself - that he likely expedited the nerfing of said weapon by continually broadcasting his possession of it at such a low level? He should probably be thanked for his service to the SoD community.

You can feel that way, but repeatedly posting about it won't change anything. You are one person in a playerbase of a few thousand, your one (pathetic) cry has virtually nil chance in getting it changed. Let it go and play, or take yourself somewhere else, because all you are doing now is irritating most of the people who read this thread, possibly including the admin team.

This thread is pretty much done, but I want to end it with something.

Posting about changes you think should happen is NOT bad. If this post had been well thought out, well written, insightful, and less threatening, it would have received a much warmer welcome. Even if the staff does not agree with your post, it's a lot easier to be respectful when someone gives respect. Your post was immature and warranted a lot of people becoming equally immature.
